Spent the morning golfing, drinking beer, hanging out with my friends, and enjoying the beautiful, fall day. Didn’t think about the Raiders once. Came home, saw the final score and went, “meh.”
Enjoy your Sundays, folks. Don’t waste your time, money, or sanity on this loser franchise.

The Raiders are the laughing stock of the NFL...what a pathetic lack of effort today was. PC & Geno were a Huge mistake, and there is no way we can go into next year with either one it will just be another wasted year!

Chip Kelly gets $6mm / year = $300k / game
So 30 plays in a game = $10k per play.
Not sure we're getting our moneys worth...

Between the 2006 season, and LSU Meat Sweats/ Purple Drank under center, would i never thought an NFL team would take a knee against the Raiders with plenty of time on the clock. Coach Andy Reid is held in high regard in NFL circles, and we should thank him. I felt like the Raiders were in the chair at the Senate Hearings for McCarthy.pfish57 wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 6:40 pm The Raiders are the laughing stock of the NFL...what a pathetic lack of effort today was. That's pathetic. This is an nfl franchise we're talking about here. Barely an NFL franchise.LayneStaley wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 6:31 pm The Raiders have a DE, TE, RB, K, and a Punter that would start on the best teams in the league. 5 players and 2 are ST guys.

No one talked about Seattle's homefield advantage until the Legion of Boom arrived.
This take is mentioned all the time on social media and it is silly. The team stunk in Oakland too.

Kenny Easley and the Seahawks Secondary would like a word with you on the four pick sixs against Kansas City in one game.

Point taken, I am dead find another....FlyBono24 wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 5:11 pm This team was garbage in Oakland too. People want to remember with rose-colored glasses but the final few years in Oakland were fcking dogshit too.
There was no "home field advantage" because the stadium was only 50-60% full on any given day. And since Oakland is a shit hole with no tourist factor, no opposing fans wanted to go there to fill the remaining seats (like we're seeing in Vegas). The seagulls were taking over the stadium by the 4th quarter because the Raiders were losing (as usual) and most of the remaining fans left.
Hell they had to tarp off Mt Davis for YEARS and they still never sold the place out.

Tell me, outside the 2016 season and maybe a couple of 8-8 seasons between 2002 and the year Raiders left for Vegas, how much did the rabid fanbase in Oakland even matter. Raiders have been to the playoffs twice since 2002 and one of those times was literally in Las Vegas..Vegas has nothing to do with why this team is failing— if anything, it helps to attract better FAs with no state taxes and a better facilities. FAs and hot shot coordinators may not want to come to a shit show, not matter where they play.LuckyRaider wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 3:27 pm I could be wrong, but it may be as simple as the emotion of playing at the Coliseum, in front of a rabid fan base, was the advantage they now no longer have to take with them on the road. We're like Vegas now. A never ending turnstile of people who make alot of money and spend alot of money. The curse of Las Vegas(Mark Davis) is real and will continue for the foreseeable future. Quarterback or no Quarterback, it won't matter

You know what dude. Turn your couch upside down, pick up the loose change and go buy yourself a clue. The Kingdome was the house of horrors for the Raiders and anyone else for that matter when the Hawks got on a roll long before the Legion of Boom. The Real CK wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 5:35 pm No one talked about Seattle's homefield advantage until the Legion of Boom arrived.

you keep posting patience, get over it already. I know it sucks but it is what it is. Pete, Kelly, Graham and Geno etc... need to go!!!Xramfan wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 1:13 pm I’ve been preaching patience explaining I expected a rough start but am still hoping for positive changes by the end of the season. However I did not expect regression and to actually look this bad. I know there are injuries and such but a well coached team should look like a well coached team at some point but at 7 games in, I’m beginning to get disappointed.
Nothing I can do about it regardless…..now I need to check my wings

Unfortunately that's a bingo. It's also a league wide problem. They just benched one of those QB's in NY today. Every time I saw fields he had the look on his face he couldn't care less and no emotion at all. Couldn't care less if they lost.DrDUne wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 6:28 pmLed by a QB that sits on the sidelines looking like he doesn’t give a fck. But that’s why “they pay him the big bucks”.
They pay these guys millions upon millions of dollars so even if they suck or give a half hearted effort it's no sweat off their nose. They are thinking I'm worth millions so I'm good. Think I'll go back to my fat house with the big screen tv in one of my expensive cars with my refrigerator full of food and play games with my buddies on other teams.

No turnovers is why.Opoponax50 wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 6:32 pm That many? I don't play FF so I don't know, but it seems like Geno should've netted negative points today.

Their current stadium opened in 2002.
Looking at the records, when the Seahawks were good, they were generally good at home, when they aren't, they didn't win at home.
In 1980, they went winless at home during a 4-12 campaign! What a house of horrors for the World Championship Raiders. Then four years later when they are 12-4, they went 7-1 at home. What happened? The team got better!
Studies have been done on homefield advantage in the NFL. It is generally negligible. The biggest advantage is avoiding travel (the real advantage), not fan presence, as the claim was in this thread.
Look at the Raiders: https://eatdrinkandsleepfootball.com/nf ... ecord.html
Where was the Black Hole boost in 2007? The team went 2-6 at home and on the road. Because they were a bad team. Loud fans don't turn lousy teams into good teams. "The Black Hole is scary!" Yeah, to visiting fans when they were being screamed at for daring to watch their laundry. The team on the field just laughed and routed another poorly constructed foe.
