Now My 10 year 4 month old GSD HavoK has cancer. Was diagnosed 6 months ago. Took him up to a 24-7-365 animal hospital about 75 miles from home "Garden State Veterinary Specialists" He wouldn't be here if I didn't have surgery and 6 chemo treatments which he completed. The only good part was Dogs tolerate Chemo well and the surgery wasn't a complex one and recovery was quick. The Bad part is the cancer will come back as it will metastasize.
Requiescat In Pace Good Boy Kush...

One of our greyhounds had a seizure this morning and didn't make it. She was 13.5 which is really old for greys. She was a total daddy's girl and was attached to my hip 24/7. I didn't cry this much when my gma passed a few years back

Oh man, this is hard stuff. We lost two cats back to back with cancer 4 years ago and it broke me up bad. Now we have the first dog I have ever owned. She is a 2 year old golden retriever and one hell of a dog. I cannot imagine putting her down and that hopefully is 12 or more years away. Cats are great, but the depth of friendship with this dog blows me away. Thanks for sharing -- we support all of you in your grief.

I had a cocker I had to put down years ago. She was 14 and the best dog. She had cancer that had burst through the skin. What was the hardest part was the day before I took her she had the best day she had in a long time. On the way to the vet I bought her a McDonald's cheeseburger and then just held her head in my hands with my forehead against hers waiting on the shot to do it's job

I really appreciate everyone’s comments, here’s another pic of Kush and his sister Coco back a few years…he loved us batting him tennis balls, we need a couple linebackers like him…he always took the correct angles it was uncanny!

352: How do you post a personal photo, that is not a link to something on the Internet?

You have to click on “post a reply”, then scroll down to “choose a file” click on the file you want to add then click the “place inline” button
I think there’s a 350mb limit to what you can upload.

My sympathies fellas but to get us
