Holy shit----he looked like one of those videos people take of their dog doing tippy-taps.
Anyway, now that it appears that only organizational batshit insanity will keep Carr here following this season, here's a question (for everyone):
WHEN DID YOU FIRST BECOME CONVINCED CARR WAS NOT CAPABLE OF LEADING THIS TEAM TO A CHAMPIONSHIP?
For me it was the final game of the 2018 season when we lost to KC 35-3. Only during brief periods of 2-3 game stretches have I ever thought differently. I'm willing to approach the kool-aid cooler, but I haven't been drinking from it outright since the beginning of the 2018 season. I'd hoped 2017 was an anomaly, but by the end of the year it was clear Carr was fool's gold.
I knew he was a lousy mechanics, because he's a gutless coward his 2nd year with the team. I knew he was a self absorbed, me first, self preservation pussy that far back. I also knew 2016 was a mirage and not his real self for the reason it was his contract year and he forced himself to try because he knew it would get him the big $$$$$$$$ and sure enough, he got them. Then the next year, 2017 to now, he's been the gutless coward, it's everyone and everything else fault but his, loser that he is.
And everyone wonders how? How does he keep doing it, fooling the people in charge at Raiders HQ. First thing, Mark's an idiot and doesn't know anything about football. Second and I'm sure of this even though I've never seen one, I am sure carr looks great at practices. he's got the physical capabilities and arm strength to be one of the top qb's in the league. in practice with the red jersey on, he knows that no one can touch him, so he looks like a very good NFL QB......but only in practice.

Based in Mark’s comments about McDaniels? I now firmly believe Carr will be back as the Raiders QB in 2023.
I said it was the case for 2022 back in January and it’s becoming painfully clear than Davis has a say in this franchise equivalent to his father. As in issuing dictates, meddling as it were.
He mandated that “this isn’t a rebuild.” So far it is.
There is always the possibility we turn it around it just doesn’t seem likely.
Is what it is at this stage of the game. The fans of this franchise deserve better.

The team has got worse since Josh McDaniels coached this team and it looks like the players have given up. Are you going to release all 54 players and pay them their guaranteed money or fire the head coach? It does not matter if Rich Bisaccia got no job head coach job offers, he was a good fit for the Raiders. Players were willing to walk though fire for him.
when his mechanics are on? Yes. He has been throwing those off his back foot or relying on his arm to muscle them downfield which causes the ball to float.
But you are correct, when he steps into the throw and uses his core muscles more he can really nail those throws.
Perfect distinction.

Carr is done. He is petrified playing now, I have never seen a 9 year starting QB have the game speed up like it has for Carr. His mechanics, footwork, accuracy, decision making, and feeling pressure have all gone to shit this year. Everything has felt like he has had a "Rick Ankiel" yip meltdown.

This guy is making mw hate watching football on a sunday
No we do not want this to get rid of carr. like many have said here, if carr has a season ending injury this year, his 2023 salary of $40,000,000 becomes fully guaranteed. f[raiders_icon]ck THAT SHIT TO HELL. So what needs to be and should be done now is bench carr so he can't f[raiders_icon]ck up the games anymore and more importantly can't get hurt, then can be released or traded next year with a minimal cap hit and that salary doesn't get guaranteed.
seeing carr operate these years I believe he is actually trying to figure out a way to get on the season ending injury list that doesn't hurt too much, hamstring maybe(so easy to claim, so difficult to disprove), so that his next years salary of $40M kicks in and then he will retire after 2023.
What does McDaniels staying have to do with Carr ?
It's likely that McD heard about Adams wanting to get traded to the Raiders before he signed.
Adams got traded and wanted the trade to be closer to his West Coast family and try to win a Super Bowl with his college QB Carr.
Adams did not come to the Raiders to play with an unproven QB. If Carr goes in 2023, Adams might or might not play out his 2023 contract terms. But there's little reason to believe that he'd agree to play with a new QB who couldn't or wouldn't feed him the ball.
Adams would likely want to be traded to the Chargers, 49ers or Rams.
So, there's no point in getting rid of Carr because you'd be getting rid of Adams too.
And, getting back to McD... it's very likely that his plan is to keep Carr and Adams the next 2 seasons (2023 and 2024), fill in the holes in the roster, and try for a Super Bowl with Carr and Adams.
The whole team tanked against the Saints, and it wasn't a surprise once Waller was held out after Adams had already been deemed 'not 100%' but playing anyway.
Carr didn't lose the Saints game. McD didn't lose the Saints game.
McD and Carr are tied together for the foreseeable future. You can't get rid of McD's and Adams' QB. Their intentions are not going to be overridden by a few crying fans.

I wonder who has more regret having Carr as the QB to ride their career on; Devante or McDaniels?
Devante was hands down a top 3 WR when he was in GB with Rodgers. Now he's having the worse year of his career with Carr.
McDaniels can recover from this disaster of a 1st year. Get a QB that can run his offense that has desire and problem solved?

Rodgers doesn't look like a Top 5 QB without Adams. Packers fans are screaming at the HC to bench Rodgers.
You won't fix the Raiders offense by replacing Carr. You're still stuck with a TE who is overpaid and doesn't play, a HB who is useless as a receiver and a WR whose area of specialty makes him worthless without 2 home run threats on the field at all times to take the defense away from him.
Replace Jacobs, Waller and fix the o-line. QB play will improve immediately with better players. A reminder: Fat Andy laughs at the Raiders dysfunctional offense filled with square pegs and marginal talent.
