Raiders return to the bay, game thread

Unread post by RaiderandBulldog »

It’s hard to believe this is the first regular season game for the Silver and Black in the bay since the move to Vegas,

Now I’m not sure how much Santa Clara can qualify as being in the bay but what ever.

Purdy is a running example of what Mendoza will do in the future.

It really is baffling. Over the course of 20+ years, it's almost impossible to not have a defense that has the advantage on 3rd and long.

Depending how this next offense sequence goes, that might be it for me. I can't do this to myself every week.

What exactly play calling would work with these losers?
3rd & 14 and McCaffery, who’s 3 yards short of the 1st down, falls down & Purdy is scrambling. So what does free agent genius Quay Walker do? Stares down McCaffery & has his back to the quarterback so he can run 20 yards for a 1st down. Fire the GM

Yes, Patrick Graham is no world beater but he had equivalent or even slighly worse talent looking far better than this.

Kind of need your defender to not turn his back to the quarterback
