Raiders return to the bay, game thread

It’s hard to believe this is the first regular season game for the Silver and Black in the bay since the move to Vegas,

Now I’m not sure how much Santa Clara can qualify as being in the bay but what ever.

Well they dont play in San José either . If teams move regionally they dont change. A lot of sports teams move to the burbs. The Braves dont play in Atlanta any more.Both NY teams play in Jersey. The Bears were going to move across the state line and not change before they reached a new agreement.

The Braves still play in Atlanta the address is 755 Battery Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30339. While it is not in the downtown area any longer and it is in an unincorporated area known as Cumberland, it is still part of Atlanta and about 10 minutes drive pending traffic.. Both NY teams play in NJ but only about 10 miles away from Manhattan.

Santa Clara is 45 minutes drive from San Francisco and there is no direct Bart service so if you want to use transportation services you have to use at least two services to get there.

It was always a stretch to suggest that Santa Clara was a suburb of San Francisco. It is far closer to San Jose than San Francisco.

The whole point of this is the 49ers whole Faithful to the Bay thing is a lot of crap and I don’t even hate them.

Hoping for a good game and a win, but the odds suggest otherwise.

Then again there is "any given Sunday" and perhaps this is the week where we win one we're not "supposed" to.

The Niners would be tough any week, but coming off their first loss and after their bye week…….. even more so. We have a chance any week but the Niners aren’t going to to be looking past this game. Our odds are poor this week.

If you can get to Manhatten from Giants stadium in 10 minutes you are in a helicopter. .
I did not know the Braves kept an Atlanta address I thought everything outside 285 was out of Atlanta. And again 10 minutes? Maybe at 4 AM in a porche

They are playing a top offense and the results against those have been consistently putrid so far. I expect the same until I see different.
