Oakland Coliseum/Arena
Venue operator Legends Global plans to lay off roughly 1,600 employees at the Coliseum and neighboring Oakland Arena when its management contract expires Dec. 31, as the properties are in the process of being sold for $240 million.
Does anyone in the Bay Area know what is going to happen to these Venus and what is scheduled to replace them ? I'm assuming they will be torn down but what will arise in those areas?

I drive past the old HOT a few times a month on my way to the airport. The areas surrounding it look like a 3rd world shithole. Majority of Oakland is a shithole. I havent heard of any plans as of yet.
