NFL Trade Deadline
Ok maybe this doesn’t need its own thread but the deadline is 5 weeks away. I know the next couple weeks will determine if we are buyers but let’s say we get to 5-2 do we make a move?
I really wish we still had Jakobi here but it sounds like a few guys might be available…
Brian Thomas Jr
Marvin Harrison Jr
Jerry Jeudy
Thoughts?

One player who could also fetch two first-round picks: Maxx Crosby, though he is absent from our updated trade board. It's been reported that the 29-year-old "does not want to leave Las Vegas under any circumstances," and the 4-4 Raiders haven't had any discussions about trading him for a second time this year. Crosby, who ranks third in pressures (42), seems likely to pass a physical, though I doubt the Raiders put him in another situation to get one.

For two #1s I'm kidnapping him and driving him to his new team. The Ravens trading for Brissett isn't a massive move, but it's the best move for that team. I don't think they have a chance to be a playoff team without Jackson, but I'd assume they aren't paying a high price for Brissett.

Stay the course.
Everything we are doing is setting up Mendoza for the future and that includes Cousins. Mendoza is likely starting after the bye unless we have won something like the next 3-4 games.
I have a feeling Klint very much has a plan and the franchise is on board. Could be wrong but it certainly looks that way.

I highly doubt he's fetching 2 x 1st round picks. I would move him for a single 1st at this stage as IMO he's a guy that's going to decline rapidly once he loses a step. He's already showing signs this season. He's making $10 million per sack so far this season and the tackles for loss are also way down.Rabidraider wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2026 5:56 am For two #1s I'm kidnapping him and driving him to his new team. I agree, which is prolly why the team says theyre not looking to move him. If a 2-1sts offer were on the table, it would be GM malpractice not to take it.heavyD wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2026 8:08 am I highly doubt he's fetching 2 x 1st round picks. I don't think there's any chance they trade Maxx this season.

If Brissett can fetch a 4th rounder, then Cousins is easily in the running for a 1st.
I really, really, really don't want to trade Kirko, so the price I'd want, if it were up to me, would be sky high.

Brissett fetched a pick swap of a 4th for a 5th, plus a 7th. That's less than 4th round value..... probably more equivalent to a 5th or 6th.Opoponax50 wrote: Fri Nov 06, 2026 8:56 am If Brissett can fetch a 4th rounder, then Cousins is easily in the running for a 1st.
