More wins than last year, Jets post game thread
With the win in New York today. The 2026 Raiders have already passed the win total from last year. We all wanted improvement and now it’s official in the record books,

Oh, I beg to differ sir, you want him to get enough touches and underperform so you can claim you were right. That is your MO and nothing has changed in that regard.mranquales wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 12:24 pm I would have no problem with Washington being a superstar. He just hasn't shown that he is. Subpar pass blocking, subpar pass catching , fumble issues and average runner.

It's sounds like that's what your afraid will happen.Attyla wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 12:37 pm Oh, I beg to differ sir, you want him to get enough touches and underperform so you can claim you were right. That is your MO and nothing has changed in that regard.
I want him to get more carries to keep Jeanty fresh and have a better sample size to make an objective assessment of his individual talent.
Stating he's better because he had one long run on a handful of carries is disingenuous. If he's as good as you claim he is he should be making the most of his opportunities. Not getting 3 yards per carry against the worst run defense, and 2 yards per carry against the best run defense.

I am not afraid of anything because I never predict what I do not know. And I have never claimed what his skill level will be. I talked about his production in college and like I always say, you never know how these guys will translate to the next level. I have said the RB position translates the easiest but I made no predictions regarding his future. I also never said he is better or worse than Jeanty. Never said it after one long run, did not say it yesterday (I did make a joke about it, but that was it) so you putting words in my mouth is typical you. What I did say it he created on the fly, which you dismissed and yet when Jeanty does it you celebrate it. But I said that about past performance and not projecting anything in the future.mranquales wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 2:00 pm It's sounds like that's what your afraid will happen.
