PREPPING FOR THE UNKOWN

Unread post by Sold My Soul »

Being an urban dweller, I have limited resources. But that doesn't mean I sleep walk. Have a cash supply on hand in case satellite service is gone. Have water, food, and grills to cook and prepare food. Have a 3 month supply of meds in case of interruptions. Cars are always filled. Propane tanks at the ready.

Power grids in this country are old and vulnerable.

I don't lose sleep over the shit, but I'd be stupid not to prepare for every occasion in this day and age...

I'm not obsessing about it. But I am prepared. Did a little more prep today as I spent a good part of the day dehydrating and canning stuff. Plenty of water. Hunting and fishing gear.

I'm not one to worry about it. What happens... happens. If I was younger, maybe. At this point.... see ya!...lol.

In July of 2012, if the earth was in the same spot that it was in a week or so earlier, we would have been hit with a full on carrington event… Estimates vary, but they say the earth should be hit with one every 1 or 2 hundred years (1/2 to 1 % chance every year)….

You have 2 RVs?
Who are you, Jed Clampett?

LOL. Ive always had a 5th wheel toy hauler for camping with our Razor and ATVs but my wife and i wanted to try out a class C motor home towing the toys in a flatbed behind it. I bought one a few months ago to try out but due to some circumstances we havent been able to travel much lately so I have two rigs in the driveway for now. I`m selling one of them when I decide which one I want to keep.
