Game Day Thread: Raiders try to rebound vs. the sinking Rams
Will Stafford regain his footing or will the Raiders bring enough heat on him to cause the Rams to fall further behind in the NFC West? It’s a good test for the Raiders to see if we can take it to a team more injured than we are.
I think we will and we will get close to 100 rushing yards. Raiders 27, Rams 23.

Thornton had one season that would be considered good and that was his Senior year in 2024 at Tennessee.
Would it be great if he could become a "diamond in the rough?" Sure, but at this time there are no signs he's going to be anytime soon.

If we take Thorton's 2025 season and walk that out? We get something like this over 5 years:
50 receptions, 675 yards, 0 TDs
Now could he in theory expand that? Sure, he could improve and his stats could go higher. Lets be charitable and take his 2025 stats and increase that by a factor of 10? 100 receptions, 1350 yards, and lets be real charitable as say 10 TDs, (bear in mind he has zero.) Were still left with a player that has all the measurables, looks like he should be a good WR but so far hasn't shown anything to say otherwise.
I suppose we could also postulate he's suddenly going to put up prime Jerry Rice numbers. I think if that happens we better start playing the lottery.
