NFL Trade Deadline

Unread post by LayneStaley »

Ok maybe this doesn’t need its own thread but the deadline is 5 weeks away. I know the next couple weeks will determine if we are buyers but let’s say we get to 5-2 do we make a move?

I really wish we still had Jakobi here but it sounds like a few guys might be available…

Brian Thomas Jr
Marvin Harrison Jr
Jerry Jeudy

Thoughts?

I’ve heard Tom talk about how Bledsoe was so important to him after he took the starting job as far as mentorship in timeouts and practices. I just don’t think the Raiders will do it. I would be extremely happy with draft capital for Kirk but I just think Brady has his hands all over this.

I also think we are winning the next 2 games which will keep us in playoff contention and stopping any QB change.
I think that is a great viewpoint and outlook. I am very interested to see how we look and play tomorrow and it will tell a lot. Either way, I don't see Mendoza starting this year with this OL.

Best case scenario is Cousins continues to excel all year and we make playoffs or get close.

Could see a nice trade in the offseason.
Cousins is on a one year deal (effectively) so he can't be traded in the offseason.
