Post Game thread - no moral victories, But…

Don’t believe in moral victories but the Raiders fought till the end.

In years past this team would have folded. It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t mistake free but we just proved we can go toe to toe with the Chiefs this year.

f[raiders_icon]ck moral victories, I need to see victories against good teams. Time will tell if we are actually a good team because The teams we have beating have a combined 1 win.

You can take that bag off now. This isn't the same Raiders of the past few years

I like the team so far, but neither of the Guards are cutting it. Burford looks like a miss in a good FA period overall. JPJ might be barely "good enough" if healthy but its literally impossible. He was born to be injured. That's his role, unfortunately.
I mean Zuhn, sure why not, but I trust our line coaches to play the best but it just might be a non fixable issue this year.

Also: Jeanty played better in the 4th quarter: 57 total yards then. It's like the more they broke his ankles the stronger he got.

I pre-complained about the refs but they did a good job from what I saw. Let em play, didn't over officiate.

They did ok. But where they hugely f[raiders_icon]cked up is Bowers was getting held every play, especially by #30 of the chiefs was holding Bowers every play. The refs called a couple I believe but they should have kept flagging the queef defense until they stopped being so blatent in holding Bowers. Yeah so it would slow the game down and there would be a lot of talking heads questioning all the flags, BUT tape doesn't lie. It would show how much he was held all game long and the refs didn't do enough to stop the chefs.

Great point. And I started to write afterwards about how I'd actually have to watch the game film and check on holds and other non-calls that should've been made. They hid their badness well on tv for the most part, I guess its all you can ask.

I actually liked the call...If we get the first and possibly score a TD on that drive a 20-10 lead would really have put the pressure on the Chiefs.

It’s huge..we all know KC will be in it to the end and to hang with them makes me feel better about our three wins coming against teams with a combined one win

Ehhh...I can't complain too much about the refs, there were plenty of calls that we got away with too

I was just happy no one got thrown out of the game for getting Mahomes’ uniform dirty.

Jokes aside, it seemed fairly called. There wasn’t a moment where I was screaming about blind refs rigging the game.

I get the call and wouldn't have minded it in that situation IF and it's a big IF, the offense was the caliber of Seattle last year or KC this year or we had established a strong run game etc. This team still has a ways to go and it was a 50/50 shot at best that we were going to pick up the first down. Hell, we were already settling for field goals throughout the game to that point
This team isn't good enough to take points off of the board. I get wanting to show confidence in your team but sometimes you have to take a step back and make the right decision. It was stupid then, and remains a stupid decision now

The players loved him for it and they’re bought in and that’s the most important detail here. With the players 100% bought in and believing they have a chance to win every game.

having tyreek on the field is a threat all by itself...kirk while not mobile can still hit a 55 yd pass and threaten a defense enough to keep it honest...our problem currently is our wr suck we have a bunch of wr3/4 on the team and 2 good tight ends this allows defense to compress coverage and stack boxes to kill our running attack, tyreek opens it up just by being on the field and if kirk hits tyreek just once every defense will have to take that threat seriously

I think he would have to prove himself again.
In combination with proving Cousins to Tyreek is a threat.
