Game Day Thread, Saints Host the Raiders
Raiders +3
Over Under 43.5
Great venue, passionate fans. Love watching us play there because of the vibe. Gonna wrap some chicken strips in bacon and add some BBQ sauce and enjoy the game. Kickoff is at 3:25 local time.
This one sets up a big matchup next week, so let's take care of business today.
The remaining question is, will Bowers suit up and play? Time will tell.

One indication of a well coached team is perseverance. I am going to enjoy this one. The Saints are a good team, probably a better team and we went into their house and took the W.

Sometimes you just need a little time off.

Man, Raider Nation didn’t deserve how dark it’s been. We paid for Davis’ sins. Both of them.

And props to Rob Leonard as well. He’s a diamond in the rough for sure.
On 4th and 2 Robbie dropped the DTs and sent the LBs followed by the safeties.
What a call.

Not sure what Mark did, but we paid for Al's sins, the league was certain of doing that.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2026 5:20 pm Man, Raider Nation didn’t deserve how dark it’s been. We paid for Davis’ sins. Both of them.

I don't want to put a downer post in the postgame thread, so I'll dump it here. I guess it's not really such a downer, knowing that Stukes is most likely back next game.

Mark’s was just the sin of Pride. He wanted to be a hero, to the fans, but even moreso, to Big Al in the sky. Unfortunately for him, Big Al was always right about his son’s football acumen. Now that Mark let others take the reins, well, proof is in the pudding.SkullCrusher wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2026 5:26 pm Not sure what Mark did, but we paid for Al's sins, the league was certain of doing that.

Yeah I was so excited about the win I made that dumb mistake. I meant Mendoza not Cousins. I think it helps when Mendoza learns on a team that can actually win games. I don’t think you can learn as much from a team that loses almost every week.
