I’m still skeptical about Jeanty
Maybe since he was a top 6 pick?
Drops today didn’t help overall body of work to me isn’t good…
The eye test tells me there isn’t another gear when he hits the hole.
Anyone watching the Colts game tonight, Taylor on the 24 yard TD run, hits the hole and he’s gone
We blame the OLine or is it the player, Any thoughts?

The Chargers have a heavy front. Their edge guys are big and strong & they start three nose tackles as base. Then you throw in stacking the box on top of it and yeah, it's gonna be difficult to run the ball. Their new defensive coordinator is different than Minter. Minter had those big bodies up front but almost never loaded the box regardless. The Cardinals beat them through the air much more than the ground also. Love had one good run and Algier had an 11 yarder or so. I wouldn't take a whole lot from th m struggling to run today. The Chargers made the choice that they were going to stop the run or lose in the process of doing so. They lost in the process of doing so.
Also, how about Kirk and that arm? Who knew he could throw deep? After all the talk that he couldn't. Love it. Go Raiders!

I think it's a little of both. Jeanty was erratic at times last season as a pass receiver. I blamed most of that on Chip Kelly's helter skelter play calling.raiders72 wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2026 6:57 pm I’m still skeptical about Jeanty

Hopefully he [Jeanty] settles down. That drop on 3rd down in the 4th quarter was a big lapse. The defense bailed him out on that one.
The Texan game last season demonstrated that he can play at an elite level against very good defenses.

Most successful teams have a 2 running back tandem...see the Seahawks last year, i think they need to get Washington more involved.

At this rate I hope we don’t see Mendoza until the 2028 season

This is the kind of stat that we're used to seeing about the Raiders after two games, so it's refreshing that it's about the Chargers:

One thing that hasn't been talked about. Jalen Nailor is dog shit! He's by far the worst FA pick up this year. Cody White has already surpassed him and he's a practice squad WR.

Yep, Linderbaun, Dean, Walker and Paye all look like great toreally good pickups, but Nailor was a whiff.mranquales wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2026 7:56 pm One thing that hasn't been talked about.
