On the bright side, those particular folk who only come to the forum to piss’n’moan had to keep their useless whining mouths shut.

When this team is truly good again, I have no idea what a few are going to do with themselves.

There are definitely some rules I'd like to see revisited..... lots of issues with various penalty rules IMO. But there's nothing about the safety rule I'd want to see change. It's not about it being a rule relating to a safety, it's really about where the ball is "spotted" when a player is down by contact. Similar to how it's spotted anywhere else on the field.

Good point on pass blocking - most rookie RBs struggle with that, although I didn't see Washington have issues. It could also be that Jeanty is a better receiver and gives the offense more options when he's on the field and keeps the defense more off balance as a result. With Bowers out and a weak WR group, it's nice to have a good receiving threat at RB.

Koonce needs to bend the knee and listen to an OG Raider. In that position hold tight to that leg and start spinning like a ravenous gator.

It will hopefully even out some with the Jeanty/Washington duo. Jeanty worked his ass off, but there was some fatigue in the 4th. Protect that man.

Could be the return of Bowers allows Kubiak to give Jeanty a little more rest, while keeping the available sure-handed receivers/outlets up.

He will have an eveb higher ceiling once Mendoza is ready and we can actually stretch the field. Seeing yesterday's game gives me a lot of hope Mendoza will be very effective once he can efficiently run the offense and things become a bit more automatic for him. Hopefully by midseason.

Thats right. Its not about is he any good, he is. Its about can he run the offense.

Ashton Jeanty had 8 carries for 4 yards in the 4th quarter. 0.5 yards per carry.

He was gassed.

He may have been but I thought the oline was gassed more.
