The Carr brothers are an odd duo. They try to emulate the Mannings with their "Home Grown" talk show but they come off as two busts trying to be relevant-which they are.

Seems overly dramatic to me, but OK.
I can't imagine the carnage around here if Carr and the Saints beat the Raiders,...we better not lose that game!

kind of like the old joke about the kid who is at the center of a custody battle and the judge is trying to determine where the child will live.
Judge: Do you want to live with your mom
Kid: No she beats me
Judge: Then you want to live with your dad?
Kid: No, he beats me too
Judge: Then who do you want to live with?
Kid: I want to live with Derek Carr, he does not beat anyone!

Man I get that he failed at times, but there was a lot of good as well. He did put his body on the line for us and paid a few times. Gotta remember 2016 and DC's good stuff, because there was a lot. Most of all, he was a Raider, Still a Raider:
Worth the watch!

Akin to watching a documentary about Hellen Keller to better prepare for F1 racing.raiderkoch wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2026 7:20 pm Man I get that he failed at times, but there was a lot of good as well. It's possible for a mediocre QB to make insightful observations on other, better QBs. J.T. O'Sullivan was never anything in the NFL, but his YouTube show is great. Also, O'Sullivan never milked a franchise for every dime he could while consistently failing on the field. The 9'ers never built a team around him only to see him fall on his face for six years straight.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2026 8:29 pm Akin to watching a documentary about Hellen Keller to better prepare for F1 racing.
It's also fair to speculate that O'Sullivan tried to improve on his game.
I don't want Carr anywhere near Mendoza and I don't want Mendoza taking advice from a long washed up mediocrity. Brady should file a restraining order to keep him at least 100 yards away from our #1 guy at all times. At issue would the following question: is it more likely than not that Derek Carr represents a threat to the development of Fernando Mendoza and therefore the entire franchise?
There's a clear answer to that question.

He was never a Raider imo.Once a p*ssy always a p*ssy fits though..The Ultimate Fraud,he was all about himself and still is...He was the same QB when he retired as he was coming out of college...Keep him as far away from this team as possible.raiderkoch wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2026 7:20 pm Man I get that he failed at times, but there was a lot of good as well. For some reason I heard that comin’ from Big Al, “Nev’ah a Raidah”. Agree 100%. Would have loved an overhead projector session with Big Al goin’ over the sissy’s f[raiders_icon]ckups. He’d have lost his shit and kicked the projector stand over on the 2nd fumble through the end zone slide. ‘Course, Carr would have been too scared of Big Al not to just retire.Rainman56 wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2026 2:38 pm He was never a Raider imo.Once a p*ssy always a p*ssy fits though..The Ultimate Fraud,he was all about himself and still is...He was the same QB when he retired as he was coming out of college...Keep him as far away from this team as possible.

9 seasons of shit from The Epic Turd...Gonna take a long time to remove the stench of the shit stain he left when McD sent him packing...(The one and only positive the McD hiring accomplished and the only HC that didn't coddle his ass)The Turd then took his ball and went home the remaining 2 games of the season after being benched...Real professional and team player he was smfh.
