Is Lockett still available?Jeevo wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2026 8:43 am And at this point I’m expecting that we do bring in a guy who ends up playing.

Speed and hands are obviously something to look for, but taller receivers are also a plus.Jeevo wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2026 8:43 am And at this point I’m expecting that we do bring in a guy who ends up playing.

Near as I can tell, he's still a FA.

Haha, there’s always that move available. Am hoping for à Crabtree type of miracle.

Wouldnt they just trade for a future draft pick, rather than cutting someone who is decent?GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2026 6:20 am I’m waitin’ on the Bengals coughin’ up something for us from their logjam at DT.

Hence he is cut. We added a bunch of camp fodder so we could scout one or maybe two of them that might make it to the 53. But there will be a lot of guys on cut lists around the league that almost nobody knows their names.

He's been on the player roster since the beginning of May. Here's a link to the roster which takes all of about a minute or so to click on and have a quick once over.

Every team in the league has what's called un drafted free agents. He was one of many in the league. Hats off to him for even being considered and even more so for giving it a go. Maybe he will land elsewhere...
