I would guess Cousins for a couple of series, Mendoza till the half, AOC for 1 quarter, then Clark for the last quarter or so.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2026 6:14 pm How much Mendoza are we gonna see on 8/13? How much Cousins?

Football games are won in the trenches, and the Raiders know that.
At Tuesday's practice , Jesse Merrick zeroed in on the offensive and defensive lines during 1-on-1s to get a better evaluation of the battle in the trenches.
In this episode, Jesse breaks down the biggest takeaways from Raiders Training Camp, including:

...every time I would see him come on the field, I would get the peanuts theme some in my head, leading to the the piano jam.RI RAIDER wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2026 8:47 am I would f[raiders_icon]cking throw out Jay Schroder by his ears. He is not a Raider and I hate that puss. One of the worst trades we ever made.

I can see Cousins going a couple. If it's a 3 and out he'll be back on the field. If his opening drive is a nice long one, resulting in a TD, that'll probably be it.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2026 6:14 pm How much Mendoza are we gonna see on 8/13? How much Cousins?
Mendoza should get a full quarter maybe a little more.

Rookies, fringe players, backups, etc., will get the lion's share of snaps, especially in the 1st PS game.

Hoping to see how McCoy does and how he holds up in live preseason games. Guessing his reps will be limited as it’s been a while since he’s seen any game action that’s been meaningful at all in quite some time.
Also intrigued by Washington who I hope gets reps, also. The speed of the nfl is no joke and a big leap forward from college from any conference. Pads and practice are good and all and we’ve all heard how great we looked in prior years. New coaching staff and players plus scheme has me pumped.
