Injury aside, Cousins will take the opening day snap. The only other way I see Fernando starting opening day, is if he just severely outplays Kirk in preseason/practices. If they're fairly even in performance, the staff will probably stick with their plan in having the vet start & rookie sit

You need a “Deadbeat Hall of Shame” list for those who don’t pay off. Public shaming
