No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.

Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

That's what I thought. It was a done deal him going to NE. Did something change? I don't want either one. They both seem like dicks which is exactly what Mendoza does not need.

the pats r low balling philly cause philly like stupids lost all leverage by trading for wr and drafting wr in teh 1st rd, this leaves an opening for someone to come in and make a steal for a talent like aj brown

fernando, jeanty, bowers,aj brown would be scary under kubiak

All reports I have seen is they already had a agreement just waiting until after June 1st. Nothing official but there were multiple reports about it

if that deal was gonna happen,it would have been during the draft...now its all about waiting for someone to flinch as the pats are lowballing
add aj brown to fernando, jeanty, bowers and you got a lethal combo on offense, cant double aj and bowers and still stop the run game

they could have made that deal at anytime and philly could have still used post june designation...its obvious the pats r lowballing and philly is holding pat...raiders could swoop in easily and steal aj brown cause our pick will be superior to pats pick in every rd

What are you talking about? It was always discussed as being after June 1st for salary cap reasons. Howie knows what he's doing.

You cannot designate a trade as post June 1st. The Eagles want the cap benefit. As i said, Howie knows more than mstrbass2000.

No, an NFL trade cannot be formally designated as a "Post-June 1" transaction. The post-June 1 designation is a rule that applies exclusively to player releases. For trades, teams must navigate the salary cap rules differently to achieve the same financial benefit:Wait for the Date: To spread out the dead money and cap charges, the trade cannot be processed by the league until June 2 or later.Unofficial Agreements: Teams can agree to the framework of a trade in advance (e.g., in March or April), but the paperwork must be held and submitted to the NFL league office after June 1 has passed.Cap Relief: Once a trade is processed on or after June 2, the original team is allowed to split the player's remaining signing bonus proration over the current year and the following year.

ok ..i looked it up and you guys are right

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that the Patriots “remain confident” that they will acquire Eagles WR A.J. Brown via trade.
The two sides are currently “working on” trade terms. The Patriots hope to get the deal done shortly after the league calendar rolls over at 4:01 pm Eastern tomorrow, at which time, the Eagles can spread out Brown’s salary cap over two seasons instead of one. Per Fowler, the Patriots “have not been overly crazy” about meeting the Eagles’ first-round-pick asking price. He wonders if the Eagles would be comfortable accepting a conditional pick for Brown, or if they might be willing to send a pick of their own to New England. Ending this saga as quickly as possible would likely be best for all involved, because it ends the storyline for the Eagles and allows Brown to begin studying his new playbook before training camp.

looks like they are still working on a deal, not a done deal...the raiders can still get in on the deal and spoil the patsies plans

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said his “feeling” is that the 49ers will “probably not” be able to trade WR Brandon Aiyuk.
The 49ers voided Aiyuk’s 2026 guarantees in November and will only be required to pay him if he remains on the roster on September 1st. Fowler said a trade is still possible, but questions remain about Aiyuk’s surgically repaired knee. He also has not spoken to the organization for some time. It’s an unfortunate situation that could drag on for a while.

offer up a 2028 7th rd pick for him and the niners will take the deal
