No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

Who knows what twisted ass games were played here or if he was just a time bomb waiting to explode.
I didn't pick up on the later when he was here.

This isnt specific to Josh Jacobs but these athletes are not our close friends and family. None of us know what they are capable of (good and bad) in their private lives based off what we see.

Unless it's felonious and/or an offense that can get them suspended, I could not care less what any player does in their private life as long as it isn't hurting their performance on the field.DanKD wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 10:25 am This isnt specific to Josh Jacobs but these athletes are not our close friends and family. As someone who dealt with abuse growing up and watched my sister be beat by her husband I disagree in what they do in private doesn't matter. But I guess that could go under the suspension part of your postOpoponax50 wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 12:16 pm Unless it's felonious and/or an offense that can get them suspended, I could not care less what any player does in their private life as long as it isn't hurting their performance on the field.

Character assassinations when you do not know the character of a person is basically a cheapshot.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 1:01 pm What women? Do you know anything about her? Everything you are saying is a massive assumption.

Josh Jacobs was released from custody with no charges filed. They are doing further investigation and won't bring charges unless they have enough evidence to do so.

Athletes have been targeted before, as have celebs, politicos, normal people, etc. All of these groups have also raped, murdered, etc.. Wait for some real info before attacking someone’s honour and integrity.mstrbass2000 wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 7:04 am really, professional athletes are targets for these women, its a known fact ...plus who's talking about celibacy ???

The Brown County District Attorney’s Office “is not yet prepared to make a formal charging” of Josh Jacobs in relation to his domestic abuse arrest.
The update comes directly from the DA’s office. They note that the standard for an arrest in this case is probable cause. The DA’s Office, however, applies a higher standard. The evidence against Jacobs did not meet that standard and he was released from custody, though this does not mean charges can’t be filed at a later date. Jacobs was initially arrested on Tuesday and booked in jail for battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim. Jacobs’ lawyers immediately put out a statement denying the accusations. For now, it’s simply a waiting game. Jacobs could end up on the commissioner’s exempt list, but the league has generally erred on the side of letting the legal process play out before stepping in.

It’s the truest part of the offseason now and things are taking on that offseason scent. See y’all on the other side.

Reading through that list I couldn’t helped but think how much a younger Vita Vea would help the middle of our D right about now. I recall wanting us to pick him that year. Not a superstar but he is/was pretty hard to move off his spot.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 9:25 am In other news, the Chargers made Derwin James the highest paid safety in the league. Over $75 million for three years with over $57 million guaranteed. He was in his last year of his contract which already had him as the highest paid safety in the league. Story below. He was drafted in 2018. Here is how that draft went and it was a pretty darn good year in terms of talent taken.
1 Baker Mayfield Browns QB Oklahoma
2 Saquon Barkley Giants RB Penn State
3 Sam Darnold Jets QB USC
4 Denzel Ward Browns DB Ohio State
5 Bradley Chubb Broncos DE North Carolina State
6 Quenton Nelson Colts G Notre Dame
7 Josh Allen Bills QB Wyoming
8 Roquan Smith Bears LB Georgia
9 Mike McGlinchey 49ers T Notre Dame
10 Josh Rosen Cardinals QB UCLA
11 Minkah Fitzpatrick Dolphins DB Alabama
12 Vita Vea Buccaneers DT Washington
13 Da'Ron Payne Redskins DT Alabama
14 Marcus Davenport Saints DE Texas-San Antonio
15 Kolton Miller Raiders T UCLA
16 Tremaine Edmunds Bills LB Virginia Tech
17 Derwin James Chargers DB Florida State

I was into drafting Tremaine Edwards who has had a good career at inside LB. My second choice was James. We have been weak at LB and DB for decades now.Viper wrote: Thu May 28, 2026 3:33 am Reading through that list I couldn’t helped but think how much a younger Vita Vea would help the middle of our D right about now.
