2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)

Unread post by RaiderFan1 »

Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.

#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.

#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.

Sounds like solid gets

Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there

Who else you like ?

My Bulldogs have 2-3 players in different positions of need we could take a look at.

We fixed the dead center of the offense with Linderbaum, I think we need to do the same on the defensive side with the 2nd pick.

I love shiny skilled wide-outs but the DL in more important and a stud should be available at 36.

There will be other wide-outs still floating around in the 3rd and 4th round.

Guessing you're talking about a nose guard? I wonder how well and how long our new 3-4 will take to gel.

Definitely Nose tackle. Hope they gel fast. Love the line backers we got in free agency.

I like Drew Shelton as a mid round prospect at RT, if we can’t get a top prospect at OT then maybe drafting one in the 3rd & let then then compete with Glaze

Dunker & Stephens out of Iowa look like good prospect but Iowa always seems to produce well rounded technically proficient starting NFL linemen

I have a feeling that the interior may be set with JPJ/Rogers at LG & RG respectively, i think we as fans are sleeping on Rogers but he is a strong fit for what Kubiak usually does although i would like to see us adding another OG & OT through the draft

They may see Rogers as the guy which will allow them to focus on finding day one starters elsewhere

I would see some sort of mix of NT, OG & OT from round 2 through 4, get the trenches sorted working from front to back
Rogers already has a leg up on any rookie coming in... been there done that. Like you, I was for the longest time thinking he would be inserted at LG but then seeing he had played T in college would be given a go at OT now, but now I'm back to thinking he will be fighting for a OG spot. He is incredibly athletic with a 4.49 shuttle which is other worldly for an OL and a 9"3" broad jump which is absolutely superb.

The issue is his arm length which is not ideal, thus the reason I'm back to thinking they want him to win the LG spot. Although there have been OT's with shorter arms that flourished in the NFL. On the other hand who could they be viewing who is on the roster as the RT? Glaze, Grant and Wagner all have the frame and arms length but all 3 are plodders that are not ideal for the ZBS. Thus another reason I think they would like Rogers at RT. And yes, I would be surprised if we didn't draft a couple OL and sign an UDFA. They are also keenly aware of guys on other teams that might be let go and will hope to scoop up an OT cast off.

Grant a plodder, & not good for the zbs?? Absolutely not. At William & Mary they ran wide zone and he kicked ass with all the reach blocks. He's very athletic. Dude is ideal for the scheme. I agree with Rogers though. He's another ideal fit.

IF Pregnon falls to us and we do not take him, we will regret it. He will be the BPA and its a huge position of need. You can not ask for a better fit. Do we need other positions (WR, OT, DT)? Sure we do, but the kid is a day one starter with the least amount of risk at that position in the draft. This kid will not only elevate Mendoza's game, but Jeanty will name his next child after him. I would sign Keenan Allen. He still has game and dare I say he could be WR #1. He would be a good get especially this late in the FA period and so close to the draft.

I think the only guy that will be BPA at 36 over Pregnon would be Kayden McDonald. I'm seeing the Texans are interested in Pregnon and could take him late 1st.

lot of rumors flying out there, some created entirely by keyboard warriors. But I have serious doubts that Pregnon gets to us. I think he is a really late first rounder or likely not going to make it past 34

Yeah, and I still think Tommy Eichenberg will also shine in our new defensive set up.
