Cant stand the way some of these "analysts " communicate their opinions, so defensive like it's personal. Guy actively downplays everything Mendoza does really well and the success he had especially in his final year, while exaggerating the great Ty Simpsons first 8 games of the entire 15 games he started in his career. Lol. Must be some amazing tape to outshine the Heisman trophy/ championship winning qb who looked dramatically better than you head to head.

I watched some week 1-10 regular season film from the past few years and its clear to me that Lamar Jackson is far superior to Patrick Mahomes.

Someone has to be the opposition among the collective.

Unfortunately for Lamar there’s those pesky playoffs.

I've seen contrarian takes when there is a consensus QB1, but never someone as proud about their take as Orlovsky. I really do think he has some kind of incentive to take this position, because statistically speaking he is going to be proven wrong. It makes no sense to take this strong of a stance on any college prospect, Mendoza included. To do it for TY Simpson reeks of an ulterior motive. But hey maybe Dan is right and Simpson will be a pro bowler lol

McAfee dropping F-bombs on his ass as he should.

Ass about Mendoza: What biggest games Pat?
Pat: The f[raiders_icon]cking playoffs, what that's some mockery and scam they pay billions for? They have a full fuckin committee, those biggest games.
Ass: Am I allowed to ask questions?
Plays the victim now being an idiot.
It's about rating and he pulled the opposite day straw.

LOL Pat even says it, I see why people say you're getting paid to do this. Even he's wondering.

This may have already been shared:

Orlovsky and Simpson are represented by the same agency.

I have no issue with people pointing out perceived flaws in Mendoza or not having him as high as we all think but Orlovsky sounds like a total schmuck. Hes basically arguing Tom Brady sucks because he only scored 3 points in the first half against the Falcons in the superbowl.

Historically QB's with less than 20 college starts fail in the NFL.

Simpson has 15

He went fetal position vs Indiana.

Dan looking for attention.

Simpson is intriguing as a developmental QB, and the sample size was very small. He has a chance if the right team takes him and stashes him on the bench to work his way into being a future starter in the league.

Mendoza is a starter in this league.

That is the difference.
