Goodtimes333 wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 9:01 am I love the Nailor signing. He gets open and has good hands. Gonna be a lot of 2 TE sets and Mayer is gonna be utilized as he should be. Bowers is phenomenal. Thornton and Bech have plenty of talent. They invested picks on guys and I believe they're going to utilize that already drafted talent. Bech, Thornton, Rogers, Grant. Overlook them if you want but I guarantee the Raiders aren't. This team is going to run the rock. They need IMO a guy capable of playing RT and another back to go with Jeanty. Not a third down back, not a few touches per game back. Another legit RB. The term "one is none" comes to mind. Cannot have just one legit back when you wanna seriously run the ball

...the 2 tight end option was always something I wanted to see with what we already had, as Mayer was , I think, the top ten that year, and people sort of lost track of him after that lost personal year,, but he looked teh part last year when given an opportunity is an offensive offense.

usual role ...nobody plays 100% of plays

The contract thing could make this difficult. I don't care about the physical. Whether the player passes or fails at least the team knows the situation when they go into free agency.

Yep it's not normal to play close to 100%. Maxx tries to play 100% and is a pain in the ass when taken off the field. It's time for him to get over that.

I personally agree with Maxx in that things happen for a reason. God is good and has a plan for our lives. We're on this planet having a human experience as a soul. With that said, prayers up that Maxx's knee heals up in a great way even better than anticipated. I know it's not an ACL or anything in that degree but to have his knee get right in a next level, miraculous type recovery would be very cool. That he has the best year he's ever had & the Ravens look stupid.

Now this is probably Napo, but it's reported that the Ravens, and other teams interested in Crosby, had conversations with his surgeon and the Raiders medical staff before any trade offers were made.

Imagine a world where Jeanty actually makes it to the line of scrimmage before getting hit. Where he actually has time to see a hole develop.

If DeCosta or someone else from the Ravens front office suddenly resigns either now or right after the season, that'll confirm it was a done deal nixed by ownership.

i think he realizes that the raiders were really trying to take care of his butt long term last yr...im sure his doctors had to have told him that him playing hurt was a detriment to his career

WR seems like a wasted pick. With the more pressing needs, you couldnt entertain drafting one until the 4th round. What's the point? He wont be beating out the three top WRs we already have. And Mendo is going to be throwing to the TEs and Jeanty anyway.

Id wait till next years draft to get a #1 WR.

We saw some brief flashes of it last year. When he has space he makes guys look foolish.

What I recall at the time was that the medical team said that continuing to play wouldn’t cause any further damage and that the issue was pain management. The front office exercised caution and decided not to play him the rest of the year ( and help preserve the first pick).

How about you have to do your physical and due diligence before you are allowed to talk turkey? Wouldnt that solve this issue?
