So if Maxx really wants to be a Raider for life, could Mark and Brady offer him a future minor stake in the team-- Like 1% or less ownership, then restructure his contract to a team friendly deal that reduces his current contract to continue build now. Or do something like Dodgers did with Othani future installments when he retires?

Sit down like men, hash the petty shit out.
There is just one problem with that. Narcissists dont have an off button. They relentlessly pursue their prime directive, which is obtaining more fuel for their ego.

I don't think giving team ownership to your players is a good idea.

No f[raiders_icon]cking way do I want to see Maxx have any ownership of this team.

It's also not permitted by the NFL.

Can confirm

Jags had offered Brian Thomas Jr & a 1st for Crosby.

Is that enough to get it done?
I would do it for a 2nd this year, a 1st next year, and Thomas (maybe we have to sweeten the pot some). This would be a great pivot.

Just get a nice guard in free agency to wash away pick 14. Keep Maxx for 2026, and then trade him for at least a 1st for the 2027 draft.

It breaks us basically even on the draft stuff and we get Maxx for an additional year.

Ravens suck. I hope we f[raiders_icon]ck them in the draft somehow.
