I'm not worried about your conspiracy theory, but I've heard Jessica Alba can be hard to work with.raidersince63 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 10:27 am Guys, again, it was only just a sudden thought that popped into my head...but seriously though, none of us really knows everything about what went on with Maxx and Baltimore.

its pretty obvious what happened...give the ravens a dark cloud going forward on tradesNewEraX25 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 10:29 am I think we know for sure, the Ravens balked and then immediately signed another DE for the same exact contract that Maxx would have, while keeping their first round picks.

It was a shrewd move and Al Davis would have done the same if he felt it was right for the Raiders.NewEraX25 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 10:29 am I think we know for sure, the Ravens balked and then immediately signed another DE for the same exact contract that Maxx would have, while keeping their first round picks.
Hindsight is now:
1. Someone else needed to sign him.
2. We needed to sign him.

Does this now change the Brady mindset of not trading Crosby to the Pats?
The Patriots own 10 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, all in the first six rounds. Also, the 7th-round pick going back to San Francisco is conditional: If Keion White is active for 7 games, New England keeps its 7th and then would own 11 picks.
Las Vegas Raiders receive: 2026 first-round draft pick (No. 31 overall), 2026 third-round draft pick (No. 95 overall), two 2026 sixth-round draft picks (Nos. 198 & 202)
New England Patriots receive: Edge Maxx Crosby

I hope this was a case of bad faith, because the alternative is those scans showed something truly significant and degenerative, in which case we are screwed.
I can't see where they would move him for #31 and then nothing else till the third.Sold My Soul wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 10:37 am Does this now change the Brady mindset of not trading Crosby to the Pats?

Can confirm
Jags had offered Brian Thomas Jr & a 1st for Crosby.
Is that enough to get it done?

I'm not trading Maxx for that. I'd rather keep him.Sold My Soul wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 10:37 am Does this now change the Brady mindset of not trading Crosby to the Pats?

....I had what is (or used to be) called a 'bucket handle' tear in my meniscus and it was a big deal, in my case, and I was told that the surgery they did was my 'one shot at really saving my meniscus' from a nearer future knee replacement, they went in through multiple holes to sew it back together, and it did take, but it was a longer healing process, as they said it would be, due to the length of time the kind of injury I had takes to heal. ...there are many lesser type tears which can be sort of trimmed away so that they don't catch and continue to tear, is my understanding, and those are the more common type. ...anyway, at the time, they figured almost a year for mine to heal properly, if it was going to.
...I have to think that my injury was worse than what Maxx had, as when mine was hurt, until they drained all of the blood from it, and prior to surgery, there is probably not a way to get back on a field until it was fixed. ....mine was from working on stilts, and the wear and tear on ligaments and tendons when your artificially several feet longer legs when you spread to pick up something from the floor level. ...over years of having done that, that was likely what tore mine up, and it wasn't until the 3rd time it went numb, and would swell a bit, that it wasn't ok the next day.
....with mine, I was working solo on a new house, and trying to drive my manual trans pick u p home with my leg swelling to the point that I could see it filling my pant leg, and having to lift my ass off of the seat to work the clutch because my knee wouldn't bend.

Did something happen to him last year cause he had a pretty drastic drop in production from his first year.mstrbass2000 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 10:40 am @RaidersAQ
