We were all gonna hope the Ravens were gonna suck next season for a better draft pick for us. Now we can forever hope they suck because they’re dirtbags.

Wonder what assurances were exchanged regarding the injury. Feels like a bs excuse given how free-agency was going for them. Crosby is better than any player we'd get at 14, he's still an asset, wouldn't trade him now.

I’m not saying it can’t happen… but the more than likely part is actually the highly unlikely part.NewEraX25 wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 6:27 pm Because shit like this rarely happens in ones, there is almost alway a domino effect, and given the past 20+ years, that domino more than likely is Lind deciding to stay with Baltimore.
Here’s the reality:
reporting is the ravens BEST offer was 88 over 4 years. We’re 81 over 3. We’re paying him 5 million more per year than the Ravens BEST offer… and they had a lot longer to negotiate with him than we did.
They only have 18 million in cap space after backing out of the trade. They’d have to do some real cap gymnastics to match our contract. Again, this is something they could’ve done BEFORE he hit free agency if they were willing to pay. They’d could’ve tagged him for 25 million if they wanted to.
What appears to be the reality here is that Linderbaum knew what he’d get on the open market, and Baltimore wasn’t willing to get there. I don’t think that changes for them nor is it apparent Linderbaum would renege even if they did.

as I mentioned in a post some days back, and after having has a 'bucket handle' meniscus repair. in addition to a few others, including a new acl from a portion of my patella tendon, a concern I had was him out being dumb after having been shut down, not so much for that, but that when he comes out of his surgery to fix it, he better stop being a dipshit and do what he needs to do, as there is a process after, and it does take time. ....not saying he didn't do what he was supposed to after, but hopefully that had nothing to do with anything, and he does respect the process, so to speak.

He got those numbers on teams that were usually behind in games. On a better team I would expect him to have better numbers. He also had to face a lot of double teams because who else on the defensive line has been a major threat the last couple of seasons?NewEraX25 wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 6:42 pm Sure, and he has needed how many more snaps to get those numbers? I don't understand why people refuse to acknowledge that he needs significantly more snaps to get less production than the truly elite DEs.
And truly elite DEs are all going to play a bunch of snaps. Even if they don’t play as many as Crosby they still aren’t taking many plays off.

If Linderbaum backs out to go back to Ravens over this I would think it would even look worse for the Ravens and the Raiders would never do business with his agent again.

Worse part is that the Raiders made free agency moves on the strength of that deal. I know they can still afford Crosbys contract under the cap but still the Raven should be penalized for this if nothing was learned that wasn't disclosed before the parties agreed to the trade.NoThanksSir wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 6:44 pm They knew what they were trading for. This has nothing to do with Maxx's knee. Baltimore got cold feet and wanted their draft picks back

....if nothing else, we have a window in to what we have with Baltimore, so with that having been said, there will be some added anxiety in the coming days until stuff gets signed.....

Not just you. Guy more concerned about a making a brand than winning games. So selfish when he was hurt and we now we know he was hurt, that he put himself above the team and pouted like a big puss. I just can’t get behind that.NewEraX25 wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 6:32 pm Naw mine are very much crossed, but I also never understood the Crosby hype to begin with. I will forever feel that he is overrated, and is a subpar pass rusher. I can't help but to roll my eyes when he talks, and even more when he gets stood up by almost every OT in the NFL. I was glad he was on his way out and I don't like that he is back. But that's just one of us I guess.

I think Hendrickson sitting there and probably only gonna command 25ish per has a lot more to do with this than Crosbys knees.
