Free Agency thread for Raiders and league-wide
Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

Worth every penny last year.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 3:08 pm Raiders released G Alex Cappa.
Woefully ineffective for the Raiders, Cappa was benched after Week 3 and only wound up hitting 538 snaps on the season after injuries forced him into the lineup from Week 13 on. Cappa enters his age-31 season off back-to-back release-worthy seasons and likely won’t be guaranteed anything if he wants to continue playing.
He helped us with many loses.
Thank you for your service.
A job well done.
Attention NFL teams,
if your tanking, this is the guy you want starting.

So many guys getting released on D around the league. I’m gonna be pissed if it’s strictly bargain hunting like last year for us.

That’s what I thought but I figured Seattle would lock him up. He also doesn’t scare me if the chiefs get him.

He’s very solid, but this is the first year he hasn’t been hurt in his career. Never been “the guy” so we will see how he holds up for 17 games without a solid solid 1b like charbs.Raidernation1979 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 5:02 pm That’s what I thought but I figured Seattle would lock him up. I hope they spend a shitload on a back…their line sucks and receivers too

There might not be a first rounder, but there's a few quality centers in the draft.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:45 pm Figures. Of all years where we need a center, they are dropping like flies.
