Free Agency thread for Raiders and league-wide
Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

Off to a slow start? Free Agency is not open yet. "Tampering" (talking to agents) starts Monday the 9th and full free agency signings begin on Wed the 11th at 1 pm Eastern time. Or did you mean slow for trades?

Hubbard is so old he went into the Museum of American History and they would not let him leave.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 12:31 pm Off to a slow start? Free Agency is not open yet. Generally I agree with the principle of what you’re saying but personally I think we should throw a dart at RB in 6th or later. That late RB and OL are the only position groups that seem to consistent hit.KillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 6:41 am Id rather not draft skill players this year outside FB and of course Mendoza. RB2 can be had in fa, probably on the cheap, and id like to see if Kubiak can develop the WRs in the building.

I approve that message too, but I also don't put any stock into most of the info out there - most of it is connecting dots and inventing interest instead of actually reporting information from people who actually know something. If we give Linderbaum $22 million a year to make him the highest paid center of all time, I'll be pretty pumped.

Tomorrow is the franchise tag deadline. Who's been tagged so far? Pitts, Pickens, Hall...... and that's it? Have those guys actually been tagged or it was just reported that they were getting tagged?

Why do I keep seeing that Montgomery was traded for 5th round value? He was traded for a 4th and a 7th and a player. Is the player going to the Lions so horrible that he somehow downgrades a 4th and a 7th to a 5th round value? Is he the oline version of Geno Smith who sucks the life out of an organization?

Here's a look at oline needs across the league. UFAs are not included in the chart, RFAs and ERFAs are.

The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec believes that a handful of teams are willing to “present [Tyler] Linderbaum with a blank check.”
It’s notable that Zrebiec still predicts the Ravens will hold on to Linderbaum, betting on him to take less money to stay in Baltimore on an annual contender. But it’s hard to believe he couldn’t do better on the open market, and if he gets to the open tampering period unsigned, he’s probably “as good as gone” in Zrebiec’s words.
