You seem way too hung up on a job title. And yea, I am absolutely sure. So thanks for playing.NoThanksSir wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 1:45 pm You didn't even know his job title but you for sure know he isn't a part of that. Got it

But say the reports are true, don't you find it kind of off that a wellness coordinator would be acting like an assistant GM? And don't you think that could rub players the wrong way especially if they are doing things that are outside of their scope? I don't find it difficult to believe that some "health guru" that Brady hand picked is managing to overstep their hired on responsibilities.Attyla wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 1:47 pm You seem way too hung up on a job title. If the reports are true, absolutely it could rub players the wrong way. I try to err on the side of not believing shit that makes no sense unless you get validation from a reliable source. I also don't give one f[raiders_icon]ck about a title. I know the basic functions of that position, every team has one and they are called different things across the industry. As for overstepping, who knows, all we know is someone said it so now everyone is running with it. We have zero context and we don't know who made the claim.NewEraX25 wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 1:55 pm But say the reports are true, don't you find it kind of off that a wellness coordinator would be acting like an assistant GM? Is Maxx mad? Well he was. We don't know now. Is that making him demand a trade? We have zero actual info on that. But that is not to say he may still be, he actually did and we might get that info. But it also does mean that rabid fans are going to run with it. What would the world be without conspiracy theory tin hat guys?

Looks like Bill had to put his foot down with this guy in the past. Almost seems like the same thing possibly could be happening here, but this time there is nobody who will tell him to back off. But I'm not in the locker room so who knows.

His been with us for one season, so far he's given us the first pick in the draft every year he's been here.
History:
Back in 2005, Guerrero was sanctioned by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for falsely presenting himself as a doctor and claiming that he could cure several deadly diseases, such as cancer and AIDS.
Other reports have indicated that he has a history of financial troubles and legal issues.
The first part is stated as fact.
As of February 2026, the relationship between Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby and the team's "Wellness Coordinator" Alex Guerrero has reportedly deteriorated, becoming a central factor in Crosby's potential trade demand.

Yep Bill put a foot down and told Tom, "if I'm going to have someone like this boss us around, I can get an attractive 20 something year old girl for that!".NewEraX25 wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 3:15 pm https://ftw.usatoday.com/story/sports/n ... 694241007/

Yeah, this off season as opposed to the previous f[raiders_icon]cking 14 shitty off seasons really shows what a bad idea it was to have Brady and Spytek making choices instead of f[raiders_icon]cking Doofus.NewEraX25 wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 12:25 pm Yeah I hate that. And if Mark is doing that, and Brady only answers to Mark, then we are honestly f[raiders_icon]cked IMO.
f[raiders_icon]ck Maxx’s temper tantrums. Trade the Valhalla Mamba and be done with the f[raiders_icon]cking babysitting.

Knowing this "falsifying he's a doctor and claiming that he could cure several deadly diseases, such as cancer and AIDS" if there is beef with Maxx here, I can see his pov.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 3:49 pm Yeah, this off season as opposed to the previous f[raiders_icon]cking 14 shitty off seasons really shows what a bad idea it was to have Brady and Spytek making choices instead of f[raiders_icon]cking Doofus.

Not saying that dude isn’t a whackadoodle, but that dude is easy enough to ignore and go about your business. He didn’t diagnose or perform the knee surgery. Maxx doesn’t like him. None of us have liked everyone in our workspace. Maxx acted a bitch for being sat down. Raiders sat him because of the knee AND because we were tanking. It worked out for the team.SkullCrusher wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 4:07 pm Knowing this "falsifying he's a doctor and claiming that he could cure several deadly diseases, such as cancer and AIDS" if there is beef with Maxx here, I can see his pov.
If we’re looking for perfection, it won’t be found. If we’re looking to stop being one of the laughing stocks of the league, this offseason, as well as the close of last season, has made great steps in making that happen.
Once more than Maxx comes out denouncing that Guerrero dude, then changes will need to be made, but so far it’s just Maxx bleating. He’s cried “wolf” too many times for me to care. Plus it makes more sense to trade him with this franchises new timeline with Mendo at the core of it.

What I'm writing here would be from Maxx's pov. He didn't agree with the shutdown, but what else had been going on? There are reports alluding he's not all that impressed. I can totally see players not vibing with nutritionist and dr's, things like this have been reported before in sports. In general it is something that isn't reported on all that much but I would think the players know quite a bit more than we do here and it matters a lot to them. Their health is all part of "Thanking Jesus after a win". Maxx didn't act like a bitch to me, imo he acted more like a warrior, he didn't Carr it in.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 4:21 pm Not saying that dude isn’t a whackadoodle, but that dude is easy enough to ignore and go about your business. Alex Guerrero is probably a kook. Also wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a Greg Anderson/Victor Conte/Balco dude. He’s been orbiting Tom Brady since 2006. So he’s been a remora on Brady’s ass for 4 Super Bowls (3 Pats, 1 Bucs). I can understand Maxx, a former addict, having issues with the guy. But I’ll take a team winning Super Bowls with an occasional PED suspension over one player every single time. Especially when said player, taking into consideration the team’s timeline, benefits the team greater in a trade than as a player. A very very vocal (too much imo) player.SkullCrusher wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 4:29 pm What I'm writing here would be from Maxx's pov. We’ve seen what running the Raiders as a “Mom’n’Pop Shop” has gotten us. We’ve seen what having a touchy-feely empathetic-to-the-players owner at the steering wheel gets us. It’s time to run this shit like a business. A sometimes cold calculating business. At least in this arena, wins are more important than feelings. Besides, I’ve never seen disappointment on the face of a player holding up the Lombardi.
