Maybe. Albert Breer, who I think is one of the most locked in insiders, has suggested Webb is a real possibility for us. I tend to think it’s not to steer Buffalo away in a different direction. The other two though, maybe.Corleone wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 7:05 am Call me crazy, but it really seems like we've set up 3 consecutive interviews to fck with Buffalo. Daboll, Brady and now Webb (the 3 guys rumored to have Bills interest).
If I didn't know any better, we're trying to mind fck them away from Kubiak. I could be off, but it certainly appears that way to me.
As Raider fans I think we’re always assuming the worst has yet to come. Putting all our chips in the “handshake Kubiak agreement” I believe gives most of us cause for concern. I’m not suggesting we hire Webb or any other candidate because of that concern, but it does worry me. If we were a normal organization I probably wouldn’t care as much.

The Bills are in win now mode. Thier team evolution is at that point.
Webb, a QB coach would jump to HC. Win now would be a tall order for him to fill bit not impossible.
I think the Bills will go with experience and Josh Allen had his best years under a Daboll led offense.

The buffalo offense has certainly been better under Joe Brady. The only thing that Daboll years had was a real wide receiver with diggs. Daboll was terrible. Josh got him the giants job.KillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 7:19 am The Bills are in win now mode. Thier team evolution is at that point.

I wouldn't expect a Kubiak interview today. I would think that the day after the game would be the game review and setting up players with film to study. Not a lot of free time for an OC today

I wonder if the lack of news regarding a 2nd interview with Kubiak means he's already informed The Raiders that he is staying in Seattle or taking another opening (Buffalo?)

He's pretty busy right now. Plus he's not even allowed to talk to Buffalo until after the SB. And it's only 8 AM in Seattle.RickRyb wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 7:47 am I wonder if the lack of news regarding a 2nd interview with Kubiak means he's already informed The Raiders that he is staying in Seattle or taking another opening (Buffalo?)

There's 2 week until thw SB. I would think all Kubiaks energy is on the game plan. I wouldn't take time off to interview for my departure at this critical hour but that's me.

A guy named Mendoza is....based off what we are seeing the Raiders are getting sloppy 2nds or 3rds. The coach stability is scaring away the top guys almost like Cleveland.

Which is exactly why McDermott isn't right for us. My guess is he takes some time off.

He has stated he wants back in right away. Allen was his rookie QB too.BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 8:26 am Which is exactly why McDermott isn't right for us. My guess is he takes some time off.

No one yet. We have been really busy talking to guys but it does not appear we wanted any of the guys who have come off the boards.Gmac wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 8:36 am Sloppy seconds in this coaching cycle? Who have we missed out on?
edit, maybe Minter was one we were at least interested in

I'm honestly pretty good with most of the guys that are left. None of them are going to make me curl up in the fetal position like some of our previous choices. I have my couple of favorites, but in the end, most of them would make sense.
