The Divisional Round games
This weekend's games are all easy picks for me when it comes to rooting interest...... I'm not torn between two teams in any of them where I don't mind either team or I hate both teams.
I want the Bills to destroy the Broncos - for obvious reasons. I think almost every Raider fan does, with the exception of some weirdos who live in Bills country and hate them with a passion. The Bills have so many injuries, but they do have the superpower of a Josh Allen who can make ridiculous plays if it comes down to it.
I want the Niners to beat the Seahawks. That's probably not a popular view among Raider fans, but I've never had the disdain for the Niners that a Bay Area Raider fan would have and I still hate the AFC West Seahawks. The Niners also have so many injuries, I don't know how they get it done.
I would love to see the Texans smash the Pats. Maybe as a result of a CJ Stroud fumble that's overturned by replay and then called an incomplete pass due to some obscure rule. Stroud looks awful right now, if they don't keep him clean then he'll have multiple turnovers again.
Then the weekend can get capped off by the Rams routing the Bears, with Mike Lefleur screaming "f[raiders_icon]ck the Bears" in support of his bro.

That's looked identical although Devantae had more control thank Cooks, his knee was down and defender ripped it out. DA didn't finish the catch but they gave it to him without a 2nd doubt.chucker wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 6:06 pm I think that was a catch..... but I thought the one last night was a catch too.

If the ball came out and was loose after Adams' knee had come down but before he went fully to the ground, do you think they would have ruled that a completed catch?Jeevo wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 6:16 pm The guy today had completed the catch, the guy yesterday hadn’t. At least thats the calls.

I can’t figure out what they’re ever going to call. I thought they were both catches.chucker wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 6:21 pm If the ball came out after Adams' knee had come down but before he went fully to the ground, do you think they would have ruled that a completed catch?

On a more timely topic..... this one's coming down to the wire. Rams have the advantage, but your own 2 yard line is not that comfy.

DA made absolutely no football move. Catch, 2 feet down, going to the ground. No football move.Jeevo wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 6:16 pm The guy today had completed the catch, the guy yesterday hadn’t. At least thats the calls.

The problem with the catch rules is that they tried to remove the ambiguity on rulings by putting a definition on it, and that definition doesn't always match with what is obviously a catch to the eye, and that just put more ambiguity to the rulings.

After behaving a little douchey vs the Packers, I'm enjoying seeing Ben Johnson looking pissed and scared on the sidelines right now.

Rams should have passed on 3rd down there. Collingsworth was wrong claiming they had to run.
A pass would have taken 4 or so seconds, and if they didn't get, the punt would certainly taken it to the 2 minute warning.

That was a weak call. 7 seconds isn’t a big deal. Throw the ball. They were ready to stop a run. Teams try to not lose instead of going for the win. So annoyingJeevo wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 6:28 pm That was pretty conservative for McVay. Thought they’d try to pass for a first on second or third down.

The rams may as well have punted on that third down. Head scratcher there. That's a Jon Gruden call

Stroud is not a good playoff qb
