This is what scares me about him

scares you? he won COTY twice with literally no trace of consistent QB play, or as I have previously said, zero offensive weapons. if you actually give him something to play with, i'd be highly interested in seeing what he is capable of doing... plus, you know he won't be out of his depth in the role.

They let Webb call plays in a pre season game against the cardinals. Denver scored 24 in the first half. Two straight touchdowns I believe right off the rip. Stidham was starting

There have been former QBs that have become OC's. To me, they have seen so many plays that they can copy and tweak any of them. I think Webb could make a playbook. But the people speaking about Webb are speaking of him in very high regard. He sounds like someone who will be more than a coordinator. If he were to get the job, I think he would absolutely have to bomb to not get a second year. If he bombed then we wasted only one year for Mendoza but if he hits, he could be the coach this team has needed to bring it into a new era.

My guess is Webb will be the hire, because we will f[raiders_icon]ck around till the last moment to make a decision, and all the other coaches are gone...I'm hoping this might be a blessing in disguise..other than he will be limited in coordinators unless they get off the pot & make a move now!
