Probably, and Watson will be back also. It should be interesting in The Land next year.

He had no time with the first team through all of TC. Stefanski pretty much snubbed him. He looked decent for the amount of time he actually had with the starters at the end... when they NEEDED him. Their O line is no better than ours. Judy sucks as a #1 WR. Hating on Sanders is in vogue, I know, but I think he did fairly well considering.DanKD wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 10:10 am Lol the new coach will likely move on from that circus quickly. Shadeur was the worst starting qb in the league during his time as starter

Good tape. bayless is such a piece of shit idiot. All he is trying to do is influence the Raiders to not take Mendoza. Idiot saying Indiana and their coach are such juggernauts of college football what a load of bullshit. Loved it when the guys on the show laughed at bayless and called him out for making that bullshit statement. I've never heard of Indiana as a football school till this year. Mendoza is the #1 pick period.
f[raiders_icon]ck off bayless. can't believe that idiot is still emloyed.

They were correct to laugh at his ass.

We will see. He said it is up to the new coach. I think any QB will be gone by #3. I don't see them trading away for a QB from another team that would be a for sure starter. They for sure will bring in competition. Really interested in what happens with Gabriel.

I think Bayless says stupid shit on purpose just stir the pot and to be controversial, again on purpose...I can't stand him, but it's hard to believe anyone could be that clinically stupid/ignorant.Oaktownonly wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 1:56 pm They were correct to laugh at his ass.

....I read through most of these posts, and admittedly, do not follow college like many here do, so it got me interested in watching the Mendoza highlights from last year, minus the ABBA background music, and while i'm not familiar with Moore, in comparison, arm talent wise, I see a guy who can zip it on a rope 40 yards, seemingly with minimal effort, when he needs to do that, and can just as instinctively use touch when that is the appropriate throw to make. ...the only thing I can think of that makes anyone suggest his arm is not elite is that he doesn't throw it on a rope when it isn't appropriate, and yet, still, as Bruce puts it, 'spins it.
....as much as I always would hear about Jeff Georges arm, I always felt he missed on a good amount of complete able balls because he couldn't, or wouldn't put a little air under it when it was appropriate.

He played 8 games, basically coming in cold with no TC reps with the first team. Say what you want.... I watched all the games he played. He'll be a serviceable QB at this level. He's better than any QB we had this season. The offense he played with might be just barely better than ours... maybe.

If we were going to take Moore we could probably trade the Jets picks and pick up a few.Spurs Raider wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 4:30 am That's certainly better than the mock I saw yesterday with us taking Moore (over Mendoza) and proceeding to take 2 CB's in the 2nd and 3rd!!!
Im curious as to how they will be scored at the combine and to read experts assessments of them. Mendoza is pretty good, but is he really good, or is he just the best of this class?

He was worse than Geno and Aidan Oconnell did better with no first team reps his rookie season. 44 pff rating whick ranked him 42/43 pff ranking of qbs, 19 qbr 68 rating. Would have easily led the league in interceptions if played the whole season. There is no measure that supports what you are saying.Dr Death wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 4:51 pm He played 8 games, basically coming in cold with no TC reps with the first team. Say what you want.... I said it before we even got the pick, but after Raiders get the #1 pick, expect the experts to suddenly flip on Mendoza and urge us to take the lesser player. We're seeing it unfold in live time.Spurs Raider wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 4:45 am All these mocks having us taking Moore over Mendoza is just trying to be contrarian and I instantly disregard any further selections.
In this case, just follow the money. Draftkings currently has Mendoza -425 to go #1, Moore is +330. For those unfamiliar with betting, that means if you bet $100 on Mendoza right now, you'd win 23 bucks, if you bet $100 on Moore, you'd win $330, that should give you a glimpse into what the oddsmakers actually think will happen. @Attyla I'll take 10k on Mendoza if you're taking those bets!- These users gave a High Five to the author Corleone for the post (total 4):

I am processing the odds on Mendoza vs Moore but will wait until both officially declareCorleone wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 5:45 pm I said it before we even got the pick, but after Raiders get the #1 pick, expect the experts to suddenly flip on Mendoza and urge us to take the lesser player.
