Mendoza is rubber stamping his 1st pick status.
We’ve found our franchise QB folks.

Have to secure the 1 pick first. I don’t have a good feeling about thatSpurs Raider wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 2:34 pm Mendoza is rubber stamping his 1st pick status.

I haven't watched either of them much this year since I am a ND fan (we got screwed), but I am impressed with both of them. I am good with either.

A lot of football still to be played (including us on Sunday) but yeah, he looks like a solid safe pick with that nr1. Seems like such a poised and disciplined quarterback.Spurs Raider wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 2:34 pm Mendoza is rubber stamping his 1st pick status.

Could you imagine. Even if we have 2 and Giants have 1, the Jets will outbid us to move up. We'd be completely f[raiders_icon]cked.Xramfan wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 2:35 pm Have to secure the 1 pick first. I don’t have a good feeling about that

Contact CorleoneI don't see how you can watch both players today and think the gap is even particularly close. Mendoza is our guy for sure, and Spytek/Brady need to IR a few more players to insure we get him. Mendoza to Bowers (with Jeanty running) can turn this franchise around.

That would be peak Raiders indeed but going on what’s happened already this past week I think the powers that be are fully intending on making sure we lose to the Chiefs.Xramfan wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 2:35 pm Have to secure the 1 pick first. I don’t have a good feeling about that

I agree. Not saying moore doesn't have the tools and upside. But the difference in the two is huge. Remember. People debated on if Ryan leaf was going to be better than Peyton. And no I'm not comparing Mendoza to Manning. Just saying the debate was hadCorleone wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 2:37 pm I don't see how you can watch both players today and think the gap is even particularly close. First half
Good
Passes were clean
Footwork was solid
Evaded and cut and ran when needed
Focused his offense
Bad
Pocket awareness, gotta get those balls out
Terrible decision blew up one of his guys
Want him under center on passing plays as well as run plays
Overall
TD passes were beauties. He needs to clean up his awareness but he saw the field downfield really well. Drop was on the defensive hit, cannot avoid those. He is leading the team.
Conclusion
He did nothing to make me not want him. He will be very good at the next level as long as we can get our protection situated

Mendoza is obviously the better player now and who i want. Moore is 20 and has potential though
