Picking Jeanty to me was a no brainer but then they pick Bech with the second pick. If Pete was making the calls on who to pick, why didn't Spytek ask him what the f[raiders_icon]ck was he doing picking a WR with the second pick when we need road graders for our RB? Then they pick two o-linemen up in the 3rd and they're nowhere close to being NFL ready? This proves to me that someone had no idea what they were doing in the draft. If it was Pete, he needs to go. If it was Spytek, he needs to go.

Jeanty was a no brainer? Bottom feeder teams should not be drafting a RB that high.

A QB would be nice, but without at least middle of the road type of oline, the QB's will get killed and we will have the same result. Must concentrate on the lines and build out. No other way.

Get your QB first and foremost…spend picks and $ on OL. Figure those two out the rest will fall in line

Definitely agree, we supposedly have a shit load of cap and I’d spend about 35-40% on the Oline.

Our draft would of looked EXACTLY the same if Telesco was here with Pete Carroll. As i mentioned to you, this was Pete's draft. He's running the show.

He’s truly thankful he’s a Brown instead of a “Raider.”

For those always complaining about opposing fans, I would say it was predominantly a Raider crowd today..

Raidersman321 wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:43 pm Used to be a time I would watch the Raiders regardless of their record. I stayed through the mid 2000s disasters, knowing Al Davis was fcking lost and destroying us. Stayed with the team through the Dennis Allen tenure (which was a disaster). Watched the entirety of the 52-0 schlacking from the Rams. And then endured the garbage that Josh McDaniels brought.

Last few years, I have cared less and less about watching the games. I didn't watch a minute of today. Just no reason to spend any time watching a garbage product. If management doesn't care, we shouldn't either. I'm trying my best to raise my twins to be Raiders fans, but I doubt they'll be fans. You can hardly call the Raiders an NFL team. They certainly aren't operating like an NFL organization. It has to be one of the most incompetent professional franchises in the world.
...been a fan since early 70's when we lost the big games, but were always a factor. ...uniforms, cast of characters, disheveled Madden prowling the sidelines, the whole below sea level grass turf stadium filled with fans wearing black, and football, in general, in the 70's, when everyone played because they loved the game.
...also loved the pre free agency rivalries, where teams developed loyalties to teammates and actual hatred for division rivals, especially, which made those games especially entertaining.
...I also appreciated more of the sideline stuff (ted with the mask, etc.) between the action before they had to start cramming so many commercials in to those times....
80's were still very good, and not just because we had some great teams, but players also still respected the game and acted like they had been there before after making routine tackles, or more... ....guys like white shoes, who didn't bother me), and that idiot gastinea (?, I know I butchered that, but its not important) who did, were the exception, as most were more....
...since those years,. i had still tried to watch every game I could from the opposite coast, and really looked forward to it, despite a lot of bad teams, and had the ticket plenty of those years to do so.
...free agency, lots of losing, rule changes, too much chest pounding and other nonsense, too many commercials, affecting the flow of the game, mostly stupid half hour bowl halftime shows have all watered the whole experience down over the years for me...
...all of this to set the tone for the fact that the last 2 years were the first ones I was less motivated to try to do what I had to to see each game, and , but it probably wasn't until this year, when I started to fall asleep, or do others things when they actually were on for me to watch. ....not just the bad teams for so many years, but the game has been watered down so much from the game I got hooked on in the 70's....
...oh, and while I was never a fan of Vegas, it is what it is as far as trying to compete financially, and winning would help with some of that, but that cheesy electric torch was a stupid idea.....
