SIlver Linings Playbook
I know there is no silver lining in a loss. And I will never say we played good enough to win, so that is positive. I will say every loss takes us closer to never watching Statue Smith play QB for us again. So after this loss what are your thoughts to help you deal with the pain of this team we experience every week?

When you expect to lose every week, the losses don't even bother me. I honeslty fell right to sleep after the game.

The silver lining is that we will all forget these games when we take the big dirt nap.

A few plays our way each game and we would be in the playoff picture. Don't get me wrong this team needs work but coach Carroll is starting to mold this team a bit and it will take time to build. I think Geno would be serviceable if he didn't have an O-line that just falls apart every 3rd play. Every rookie made mistakes last night and I think another year in this system will get us on track to winning these close games.
Next year...
Try to draft the top rated O-line man
Sign a top free agent guard
Sign a top free agent DL
The Raiders def need to let Carroll build this team over the next few years. Sucks now but that is the way.

Luckily all my teams usually don’t suck in the same seasons so I can switch my fandom to better things. This Raiders shit sucks but my Aggies are 3rd in the country and the Blazers(NBA) look like they might have finally turned a corner to a potential playoff team this season. Took them basically 4 years to rebuild, which I feel is a normal amount of time. 23 years in f[raiders_icon]cking laughable.

At least my Dodgers and Lakers are well-run franchises who have COMPETENT ownership.
They see the mistakes and learn from them, unlike this f[raiders_icon]cking clown show of a franchise that keeps hiring SHIT coaches and SHIT GM's and SHIT players and wondering why they still lose, like it's some mystery.

What makes you think that? Geno isn't going anywhere... and there is no QB in the draft worth wasting a 1st on.RenoRaiders75 wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 6:06 am I know there is no silver lining in a loss. I would take Mendoza in a heartbeat. I would even trade up to the first pick for Mendoza.Dr Death wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 1:55 pm What makes you think that? Geno isn't going anywhere... and there is no QB in the draft worth wasting a 1st on.

Doc don't start sounding like Hellbound's irritating ass lol. Bc I'll offer you the same bet I offered him in which he puss'd out. Either silver dollars or real cash. Geno Smith will NOT be the Raiders starter next year. No chance in hell. I'd take ANY of the top 10-15 rated rookies in the draft and give them a shot over this human garbage can.Dr Death wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 1:55 pm What makes you think that? Same. But we should of traded Maxx to have a chance to do that. Bc the Jets will take him.Raidernation1979 wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 2:56 pm I would take Mendoza in a heartbeat. I would even trade up to the first pick for Mendoza.
