The Christian Wilkins debacle really hamstringed us this season and next.

Hellbound wrote: Sat Oct 25, 2025 8:00 am Funny way of saying the KC oline sucked and Mahomes being an elite qb couldn't mask their problems being sacked 6 times, hitting him 11 and forcing 3 turnovers from him. Weird that the team with better line play (both sides) actually dominated and won that game

Funny you say Burrow is fine aside from his injuries. How does he accumulate those injuries? From getting beat up by his subpar oline. He doesn't give his team any chance at all when he's watching his team from the sidelines. That teams defense has nothing to do with his or his oline play so not sure why that was even brought up

Btw....me saying here are again is a fact. Not an opinion. People were complaining about the oline & Jacobs getting hit behind it. People are complaining about the oline & Jeanty getting hit behind it
Even the best have bad games. But you put Mahomes in the Raiders offense, and he'd have them humming. Look at who he's throwing to. It's not like that's an elite WR and TE room.

I understand what you are saying but I am not so sure. Since Gruden left the first time talented players seem to play down with they put on a Raiders uniform.

There are a few exceptions but the Raiders tend to make clunkers out of Ferrari's and then watch them go on to play well for other teams.

Hellbound wrote: Sat Oct 25, 2025 7:16 am How did that mediocre at best oline work out for Mahomes in the SB last year? How'd that poor oline workout for Burrow this year? That elite qb has had the same amount of season ending injuries as he does playoff appearances. That's fine that you have your opinion. That's all it is though. Just as I have mine. I also have history on my side though. Will you get a fluke season out of an elite qb behind a poor oline? Sure. Is it sustainable success? Absolutely not. You said it yourself, it's a recipe for disaster

Give me the good to great oline and it won't matter who's at qb and/or what type of game plan you have

You can have the qb behind a sketchy oline

Again we both have different opinions and that's fine but no need to try and force your opinion off as a fact like you always do
That's my take as well. Not saying you don't need a good QB...you do and nobody will argue. But you need a line. Philly O was driven by Barkley running behind that O line. Mahomes had no chance with that patchwork line against the Eagles. Even though he got the to the SB theine was devastated in the playoffs. Teams have won with mediocre QBs but nobody has won with a bad O line.
We seriously need a good QB but this team does everything backwards. We have a horrid O line and no QB...let's grab a TE and a RB to build around. If we had a good line and a decent QB Jeanty and Bowers would be a force together

I should clarify I was commenting on the SB playing against the Eagles D. I edited my post. The KC O line was so Injured going into the playoffs the O just wasn't the same. Not doubting Mahomes is a football god and every team wishes they had him

Has anyone with eyeballs watched Richardson play? Including college? He's worse than Geno

lot of potential, way too inaccurate, quit on his team.

You don't trade for potential with those red flags attached to the same player.

A QBs best trait is actually getting the ball to the receiver. He’s maybe one of the worst all time at doing that. This is definitely a please god no moment

Nope. Dude should've never sniffed the top 10 let alone the the first rd. The only two redeeming qualities he has is he can throw far and run fast. Unfortunately he can't actually play the position and Im not interested in finding out if he ever will be able to play qb. Unfortunately I don't have any say in the roster moves lol

Anthony Richardson has zero potential. One of the most inaccurate passers i have ever seen. Half eaten box of twinkies? I wouldn't trade a twinkie crumb for that garbage.

He is the definition of an athlete who happens to “play” QB.
