Whatever The Raiders are going to do, I hope they do it Monday. Get it over with and prepare for the last half of the season.

Fire half of this f[raiders_icon]cking clown coaching staff, trade Meyers since he doesn't want to be here (hopefully to some bottom feeder team like the Browns or Dolphins haha) and BENCH GENO FOR f[raiders_icon]cks SAKE!!

I remember Shell being interviewed and recalling the phone call from Al asking him if he wanted to return to coach the Raiders and he said “Yes of course, I would be honored”.SuperRaider wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 2:27 pm Yeah it bad; Art only took the job because Al could not get anyone

We need to bench Geno so that the players keep whatever glimmer of respect they may still have for the coaching staff, if we intend to keep them around.

Never, ever, ever should of fired Art the first time around.Raider_Len wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 5:05 pm I remember Shell being interviewed and recalling the phone call from Al asking him if he wanted to return to coach the Raiders and he said “Yes of course, I would be honored”.
It's been all bad since then except the 2 years Gruden had with the winning record. What they should have done is surround Art with talented assistants. The players loved and respected Art. We were 9-7 and he fired him. Such a shame as if Al had stepped back with this ego and being in his mid 60's back then, and brought in young capable assistants to surround Art with I think we continue to win and quite possibly more super bowls.

I remember Art well.I flew to Oakland to see the Browns game, got a chance to meet and chat with the man, I remember him telling me he had no idea it would be as bad as it was. He talked about how the times and the fans had changed, The Raiders lost the game , but I had A great time. Got to meet a lot of Raiders, collected a few autographs and went to Rickey's.
