You know Smith threw 21 interceptions during his rookie season. More than he threw touchdowns. In the last two seasons AOC has thrown 20 TDs to 11 INTs. In the three years that Kenny Picket has been in the league he has thrown 15 TDs to 14 INTs. Can someone now tell me who the better quarterback is?

From CBS Sports -- how historically bad Geno Smith's start is for the Oakland Raiders:

Looking at bit at the various threads today -- I have never seen this site so dominated by one poster. He needs to take a breath and get a life for at least for a day or two. So ridiculous no matter what the team did or does.

Just listened to Depends' press conference.
The doddering fool said Geno has been solid.

My take is this: Carroll coached Smith for two years and Smith was really good. Carroll did not coach Smith last year and his INTs went way up. I think Coach thought a reunion would bring back the "good" Geno Smith. It has not so far and it is possible that Smith is simply just done and Carroll's move will turn out bad.

Dude didn’t want to take his job seriously, period.

Geno missed a walk in TD to Ian Thomas on the 1st set of down when he took a sack. Then he missed Runyon wide open accross the middle for an easy 1st down on 3rd and 12. Instead he threw out of bounds locked on Bech- 3 and out. He had time to make his reads in both occasions.
These are game changing plays that at the least, keep the score competitive.
We are getting Jets Geno and it’s not even close.

C,mon man do I need to pull the receipts from chatThe Real CK wrote: Mon Oct 06, 2025 9:57 am Baker, unlike Gina, shut that guy up.
I pounded the table hard for Baker in 2023 while everyone else (including Gannon) drooled over Jimmy G the "Winner."
Baker, Baker the Touchdown Maker!
Always liked Baker, guy is a competitor.I think getting sent out of Cleveland was a humbling experience that made him focus more on his craft...After some decent seasons with the Browns he got a fat head reading his own press clippings imo.....Left the Browns with that chip on his shoulder he had in college and has play his best ball since.

Define good?He had ONE good season in 2022...The rest of his career he's been average at best to downright awful most of the time imoRunOverByHubbard wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 1:48 pm My take is this: Carroll coached Smith for two years and Smith was really good. Never been a fan since he was drafted...Just say NO to GeNO was my motto and always has been...Have to admit even I didn't think he would play this badly but seems the Raiders bring out the worst in players far too often
