It runs:
No exhaust yet but I have a pile of pipes to work with so that's on the short list of things to do. My workshop is a walled off section of the shared basement parking garage in my apartment building so running open headers would be disturbing.
Doors are painted. Still working out the electrical bugs in the dash (essentially made the harness so issues are inevitable) and they'll go on once they're worked out. Easier with the doors off and less likely to bang them on something while working on it. Hood's primed and ready for wetsanding. There will be more primer I'm sure, as this is not a new hood. Fenders are final primed. They'll be finished and painted last as they go on last.
And really, not a whole lot left to do. Stripes...

There's no way I could tell. Too many redos, too many changes or improvements over the years to keep track of. Hell, I painted it 3 times over the years and still haven't drove it. In fact, with the arthritis that's finding a home in my hip I'm not sure how long I'll be able to drive it once it's done.
But I will...

Duster's moving right along. Most of the exhaust is on-still need to do the tips. Painted the hood last weekend and wrapped up this weekend wet sanding it. Plan is to buff and mount it next weekend and get started on painting the fenders. And the doors are hung but I still have to get the glass and latches installed.

Just to keep the updates up to date. Doors are assembled with glass in, fenders are hung and it went outside for it's first bath:
Still plenty to do but since it's too late to drive it this summer I'll have the whole winter to wrap things up, work out the bugs and have it ready for next summer

Heading your way in a few weeks for a late season hunt near Emigrant. Wouldn't mind a little snow up high to push the elk down ;)wymanv wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 3:38 am Montana. Should've snowed by now. We usually get our first in September.
