Around the NFL
No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

Did Bradley actually do anything in preseason to provide even a sliver of hope, or was he just the "he can't be worse than the other guys" guy?
Regardless, overreacting to preseason is a mistake - good or bad. It's still better to look good than bad, but O'Connell had a really nice rookie preseason didn't he?

When I am right on Cam, you are all gonna get the serious business from me. If I am wrong, and I am never wrong, I will act like I never said a thing.chucker wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 9:38 am Did Bradley actually do anything in preseason to provide even a sliver of hope, or was he just the "he can't be worse than the other guys" guy?

I personally think it has to do with the offseason vacuum of no football. Everyone has been chomping at the bit to get their fix and any semblance of good play elevates ones expectations.
We're all starting over so every team is superbowl bound and every new player is the next savior of said team.

Yep and every good team last year will be good this year and every bad team will be bad.raiderboyron wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 1:17 pm I personally think it has to do with the offseason vacuum of no football. Queefs bias in full effect. Vikings Jordan Addison and Queefs Rashee Rice pleads guilty the same day, yet only Addison is suspended. NFL bias continues. For a league that love optics......??????

Addison could have delayed his hearing as well. He chose to get it over with. Rice will be disciplinary hearings is Sept 30th. It's not a mystery or a conspiracyraiderjohn wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 11:22 am Queefs bias in full effect. It's also different policies as Addison was suspended under the substance abuse policy, which has more specific penalties and there's less room for variance in penalties. Rice is under the personal conduct policy and it's been reported that the NFL was proposing a suspension of more than half the season for Rice. If they don't reach an agreement prior to the September 30 hearing date, then Rice will almost certainly be suspended for the first game vs the Raiders this season.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 11:51 am Addison could have delayed his hearing as well. Rice was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but can choose to serve that at any time during his 5 years of probation...... that seems pretty odd to me, but maybe that happens more than I'd think?

Sirius rumour is that the NFL wanted 10 games for Rice and his group vowed to fight it tooth and nail so it’s therefore going to an independent arbitrator. Apparently a “deal” can still be reached at any time.
