He mentioned they were after a coach that went elsewhere and they turned full attention to Carroll after that. It had to be Vrabel
There was a Shrine Bowl report yesterday on X that said we wanted Cohen. Which was confusing because I don't remember us even requesting an interview (unless we did behind the scenes)
What is everyone 's take on Maxx's body language during the press conference?
He had his arms crossed with a scowl.
Usually crossed arms mean you are guarded or are in "wait and see" mode.
He didnt give off a great vibe imo. Lile he is looking for an excuse to leave.
I just dont want it to be a whole thing. Get his guys re-signed, get him a little more money, amd if he stays great, if he asks for a trade that is fine too.
Crosbys attitude is becoming a bit much for me.
Imo the one guy you CANNOT lose is Spillane.

Bobby Wagner is a free agent coming off a great season who would be a great addition to help run Pete's defense on and off the field.

Not going to read into too much of anything right now, nor am I buying into the
The reality is this team is on its umpteenth rebuild in the last 40 or so years. At this stage I don’t care if it was Vince Lombardi himself the press conference. Why? Because until we see real, tangible improvements on the field this organization does not deserve the benefit of the doubt.
I’m hoping Carroll and Spytek succeed. But unless the Turnip suddenly develops patience which we’ve never seen out of him before we’re going to be right back here a few years from now.
If the adults in the room can keep the Turnip distracted with Applebee’s kids coloring book menus, hooter’s girls and fixing his mini van we might have a shot.
If not? More of the same.

Happy with the press conference. Happy Pete made the comment to Maxx that they are coming.
I want Maxx in the fold. I want him to retire a Raider. I want him to go in the hall as a Raider. I want to get him a ring.

Don’t let him go anywhere else. I’m rooting our best player to get everyone to buy in and turn this thing around.

Stunning Pete Carroll fact: As a head coach at all levels, he has had a paltry 5 losing seasons.

Even more impressive considering that is his 18 seasons vs our 27 seasons.

I like the hire but I hope they can find a QB during his timeline as the guy can coach but he’s not a miracle worker. This team will only go as far as the starting QB will take them so I’m hopeful that we get a chance to see Carroll work with a full deck of silver and black cards.

Just watched the PC. Solid stuff from both guys. In the very beginning the guy opening the door looked like AP at first.
