I figured Carr would do this, thats why its better we know now than in a couple of months after having a handshake agreement. Cut him and also tell him he will never retire a raider.

Probably the best thing for Carr and the Raiders. Carr will get more guaranteed money and the Raiders don't have to worry about a team backing out. Carr still gets the $6 million for the signing bonus and really just has a 1 year $33 million contract. Wouldn't surprise me if a team gives him a 3-year deal for $90 million with $60 million guaranteed. Especially since no draft picks will be factored in and the team can structure his contract to fit their needs. Getting a third-round pick for that risk isn't worth it for us anyways.

Well I'd like to applaud the handful of guys on this forum who's eyes have been wide open, both about Pussy 4 and the reality of the contract "extension." Having said that, I'd add this zinger: Pussy 4 has ALWAYS been about the money. Not the Raiders, the money. Carr is the most anti-Raider Raiders to every suit up.
