I am looking forward to the three day post SuperBowl window more than the SuperBowl itself.

Sooooooo many fans have waited a long time for this, teammates too. Thank you McZ, hopefully we won't have to wait until after the SB and things will heat up in the weeks before...
Carr changing his stripes and leading a team to the promised land is a sick fantasy.
:zipped: Quite already.

Not Derek Carr. He's the man the that can help that team get over the hump! Definitely worth two 1's a 2nd and a 3rd. Good QB's like him don't grow on trees you know!!!

Come on Colts/J-E-T-S/Texans/somebody anybody! Come to the dark side of the force! Who needs Garoppolo when you can have arm talent like Carr delivering strikes like missiles to any place on the field! More 4th quarter comebacks than anybody!!!!
I can't feel sorry for anyone who made millions of dollars for doing absolutely nothing to help a team become successful...2 playoff appearances, first round losses and a terrible won/loss record, not exactly the stuff of legend.
The upshot of this is his reign of fleecing money and adding to the disparity of NFL teams isn't over yet! :loltears:
Anyone assuming #4 is suddenly going to lead a team to the promised land after watching him perform the last 9 seasons is delusional. No one is arguing his stats, but when it mattered most he disappeared particularly inside the red zone...
I wouldn't assume it but I wouldn't be surprised either. Raiders have been so dysfunctional for so long. If Trent Dilfer could win a super bowl, I can see Carr doing so with the right supporting cast and coach.

Having said that, I also wouldn't be surprised to see him be the same guy as he has been with the Raiders.

Doesn't matter. It was well past time for the Raiders to turn the page.
The Raiders gave Derek millions of dollars and a very long leash to be the starting QB for 9 years, and him and his brothers act like he was so wronged by the organization. Salty like the hot girl who got dumped for the first time.
Seriously.

Been watching all of the episodes of a Football life. Just watched Tom Landry this AM.

Dude was the only coach the Cowboys had ever had, invented the 4-3 Defense (as we know it), won two Super Bowls, 20 winning season, etc. gets fired by Jerry the day he takes control of the team?

Derek (insert the misery we know all to well) and has accomplished jack squat on the NFL) “he has been done dirty?”

The Carr Cultists are delusional.
You guys don't need to worry about Carr's contract. He has already publicly said he has made enough money in this game and from the last contract. This was when he was saying he would retire than play for another team.

Davis has the leverage now after the comments and Carr has mentioned taking less money.

He's going the route of Tom Brady. He will get paid handsomely but he won't be one of the highest paid anymore. Like I mentioned before....Carr's contract right now is a bargain when people were complaining.

Just have to appreciate Carr because before him we never had a player that would commit and play with us for so long (QB). He will be a legend with the organization. Ring of Honor?
Aged like milk in the Vegas desert.
