the fumbles suggest a possibility it does
Burrows - 9 inch hands, and 5 fumbles after 55 sacks this season.
Carr with slightly larger hands and way more fumbles on less sacks.
Hand size has to play a part, but awareness and attitude and technique are more important.

I'll stick to Atari 64.

Has anyone actually seen a Burrow pump fake? I'll watch for it in the SB if I remember.

His poor pocket presence can't be overcome and he's a poor anticipatory thrower, but he could mitigate those weaknesses by doing other productive things (play and pump fake, taking off and running with the ball more).
I honestly believe that if he has the pump-fake going for him in the wildcard game, that we take Cinci to OT. Fake the pass to Jones, the CB bites, and then lob it to Waller for the TD. It was right there.
Just those things could add up to an extra couple of wins per season. And in the playoffs, everything matters (as we saw in the WC game).

He looked off, pump faked, then went to zay. What is with this never pump faking business when Carr literally did pump fake multiple times in that game? Is the issue that he doesn’t pump fake when you’d like him to? How often should a QB pump fake during a game?

Says Ben Roethlisberger has the "soft fake" and the "hard fake". The hard fake definitely takes some big mitts, but even the smallest hands could do the other. So I agree with you. I don't dislike Carr because he's not a great QB. I dislike him because he THINKS he is, and doesn't seem to bother to work on his shortcomings.

Sure, Carr may pump fake in a game on occasion but if nobody is faked out by it, is it really a pump fake? Isn't more of a pump? It is like his play action pass, he rarely does it and it is one of the worst in the league when he does it. McDaniel is going to have his hands full trying to fix issues in a 9 year vet.
And yes, there are examples out there that dispute my points but they are the exceptions and not the rules.

BR nailed him to a tee, and a lot of he strengths and weaknesses from that scouting report still exist today.

If Carr stays on as QB Im not watching.
My time is too valuable to waste it on this nonsense.
What a joke…everyone and everything with the Raiders changes except the one thing that obviously doesnt work…Carr
I doubt Josh can fix something that is ingrained in Carr & that is self preservation which is first & foremost in the Pussy's mind every play!
A tiger can’t change its stripes and no one’s gonna get that boy to stop bein’ yelluh.
