https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a_SAGCQL5a0
Marcus does a fantastic job of breaking down the plays. Fans really need to watch this to understand the faults and positives of the offense. Not just this game, every game. Fans who think they saw something during the game like open receivers. Most of the time they aren't open. When they are Marcus will point it out and explain why he missed it or why the throw couldn't be made.. He breaks down every passing play from different angles. Very informative. Marcus Johnson Carrfax is must watch. Marcus is a fan and a bit of a homer, but he gives an honest opinion and knows this offense and play selection. Probably better than Olsen.
For some reason, when he loses you keep insisting it is a team thing, and when we win it is because of Carr. If we can get a rookie QB who shows out, we can take 20M dollars to further get that team together and do it on the cheap at the most expensive position on the field. Trying to get better does not require us to keep Carr, but getting better does require us to improve a lot of other positions.
Most if not all wins are team wins. Sometimes a defense can put forth a huge effort for a win and sometimes a QB can. Most of the time both sides of the ball need to make plays. Rarely can a team win in the NFL with only the QB. It's a team sport and a team effort is required for wins. Unless your defense is some old Ravens, Steeler or Bear team. Those teams can win with only a defense. Not in this NFL anymore on a consistent basis

SO you don't see the entire field. So when you think a receiver is wide open, most of the time he isn't. And when the ball is in the air, plays coverage on the ball. While you see a player wide open after the play. He wasn't wide open when the ball was thrown.
get over the Carr hater shit. It is not hating Carr, it is wanting the team to win. If we get hot on a rookie who hits, we get 5 years of cheap QB play that is good and get to use millions on other positions. It is basic economics, spend less for one guy and you get to spend more on a bunch of others. Carr is overpriced at 35M per for the production. You take a chance and you get a Herbert at best on the cheap so you can load up around him.

Very few hate Carr, they just see the value is less than the going price.
This is exactly it. The Raiders are trying to build a team backwards. Paying the QB 35-40 million while devoid of talent at many other positions is a recipe for failure, or at the very most mediocrity, unless your QB is absolutely generational, and that isn’t Carr.

Build the roster first, add the talented rookie QB on a cheap deal. That’s the recipe for success in the NFL now.

When guys calling the game on tv like Romo, Gannon and Aikman and they say a guy was wide open, they don’t really know for sure until they hear from Carrfax and all 22?

Build the roster first, add the talented rookie QB on a cheap deal. That’s the recipe for success in the NFL now.
Thats been my point. You can't win in this league with a QB making 40 million a year. But that's hardly ever the point in the discussion about Carr. It's he sucks, he's a pussy, he's a loser. I've said all along that this team doesn't have the talent and any QB that is put into this position will fail. The roster needs to be better. This teams needs to draft better, the need to sign quality free agents, they need a solid defense and good coordinators and stability in coaching staff/front office. Thats what successful franchises looks like. Then the Carr haters say, Carr needs pro bowlers all over the field to succeed. No. Every QB in this league needs a good roster to succeed. It just so happens that Carr has had some really awful teams. People think that as long was you have a "franchise" Qb , your team wins. That is rarely the case. You thing it's that easy to find a Justin Herbert. Before Carr the last pro bowl QB the Raiders drafted was Kenny Stabler in 1968. Beuerlein went to a pro bowl with the Panthers in his 11th season and 6th team. He also never had a winning season and only started over 10 games 4 times in his 14 year career
Here is every qb the Raiders have drafted in-between Stabler and Carr

1968 Ken Stabler(2)
1973 Mike Rae(8)
1975 Harry Knight(9)
1975 David Humm(5)
1975 Tom Doyle(14)
1976 Jeb Blount(2)
1980 Marc Wilson (1)
1983 Scott Lindquist(12)
1984 Randy Essinger(14)
1985 Rusty Hilger (6)
1987 Steve Beuerlein(4)
1988 Dave Weber (11)
1989 Jeff Francis (6)
1990 Major Harris (12)
1991 Todd Marinovich(1)
1993 Billie Joe Hobert(3)
2001 Mrques Tuiasosopo(2)
2005 Andrew Walter(3)
2007 Jamarcus Russell (1)
2011 Terrelle Pryor(3)
2013 Tyler Wilson (4)

20 QB's in between Stabler And Carr and Steve Buerlien had the best career and it wasn't in a Raider uniform. Drafting a QB is not easy. I'm saying it isn't a forgone conclusion that we will find one. It only took 46 years in between Stabler to Carr.

They call a game for simple minded fans who don't understand the game. Have you ever even watched tape of game before. Most likely not, thats why you give smart ass comments.
