I have my issues with Carr. The biggest issue I have is he isn't hard enough on teammates or hold them accountable. He wants to be liked and being liked doesn't win games. When players run wrong routes during the game, he isn't looking there way again. How can you depend on a player when they are running around running wrong routes? You thin that playing NFL Qb is like Madden, every pass is delivered off balance across the field. Some passes cannot be made. As a fan you say he should have thrown it here or there. Qb's dont have 7 seconds to throw the ball. If that play call for a curl and the receiver is running a slant. You look to throw the curl and have to go somewhere else. That player might be open but the QB has no idea what the receiver is doing; This isn't touch football in the backyard.

Honest question, are you related to Derek? You seem to take criticism of him very personally.

It's easy to point the finger at the QB, what was out record before Carr was the QB. About the same as it is with him. The coaching sucks, drafting sucks and the organization as a whole sucks. A QB is the scapegoat and fans like yourself think the a QB change or a coaching change will make a difference. It doesn't. This is a terrible organization that lacks leadership and talent. Until that changes it doesn't matter who the QB is when you have defense that gives up 30 points a game for 20 straight years.

THis team has never been built so to call something a rebuild would mean that we were good or "built" at some point. You need an influx of talent everywhere. I wouldn't draft a QB in the first round until I had a quality team. And this team is far from a quality team. We would just be wasting picks just like all the bad organization that get a new coach, draft a Qb in the first round. Fire the coach after two years and repeat the process again.
I would get what I can for Carr. Resign Mariotta and go 3-14 next year. Keep drafting defense until we get a respectable deafen then draft a QB.
