Yep I don’t see this one on Carr other than he was part of the team that lost.
Int wasn’t on him, fumble? He’s slays had sun king problems.
We’re back to the same question week in and week out. If he’s not the problem, is he the solution?
The team has a lot of problems, he’s part of it to a degree and opinions will vary as to how much or how little.
In the end I don’t really expect much will change and in a few years we’ll be having the same conversations about Carr at the same time of year. Only difference will be he’ll be on a new contract with us.
when things get tough, carr folded too easily
carr didn't even try to fire up the team and get a touchdown in the following drive
punt, punt, punt

20 or fewer points in 61 of 123 starts.
We need an elite D to win with this guy. Which isn't likely.
Naaah we have it on good authority that Herbert isn’t that good /s
He’s playing at at a really high level in only his second season, his TD pace is insane… did I mention the he’s only in his 2nd year, but hey, “we’re good, we’re good”
But is he "just lucky" like Mahomes???That is the big question.

Our line sucks so let's stay with the least mobile QB we have.

In the end I don’t really expect much will change and in a few years we’ll be having the same conversations about Carr at the same time of year. Only difference will be he’ll be on a new contract with us.
Mark is a senior citizen who wants to win playoffs games and a SuperBowl. The way this season has gone no way does Mark give Carr a new high priced contract. My best guess is that following this season the Raiders will shop Carr and if another team makes a decent offer the Raiders will take it. If there is no interest in Carr's services I think it's 50/50 whether the team cuts him or has him play out the final year of his contract.

Not convinced our rutabaga/turnip of an owner is that logical.
so, yea yesterday was really not on Carr. I mean, he had some bad throws and was not leading his receivers but overall he did not cause us to lose. Defense had a bad day and we gave them some short fields. Turnovers was the story yesterday. Did not help that we taunted them before the first kickoff so they went into embarrass them mode. Can't even say penalties was part of the loss. But you could see in the second half that we just wanted to get that game over with and to get out of there. And that was pretty much everyone.
Agreed. Aside from his usual lack of pocket presence, that game was lost by damn near everyone. Carr didn't play that bad. Made a few nice throws, albeit nothing downfield that would have helped us either, but he's not the reason we lost this one.
The antics on the logo pregame was inexcusable. Sure, let's give a superior team every reason to come out on fire. Complete stupidity on top of embarrassing. No leadership on this team. This group is the very antithesis of every reason I loved the Raiders.

We have seen this story with Carr....this game was not is fault, but he surely did not elevates anyone either. It just time for a new direction, for both parties.

We don't do those things, we probably lose, but we lose in a far less embarrassing way.
