...I heard that he was recently seen on a float with some German chicks, and during a parade , complete with marching band, in Chicago, lip syncing 'twist and shout',.....

Kirk has already said he does not want to be a coach--at least not at the NFL level. He said if he coaches, it will be for his kids. But he does want to stay connected to NFL FB. Just hasn't yet narrowed it down or isn't saying what it is. He's camera ready, knowledgeable and has excellent public speaking skills. I don't think he's at all worried about what happens after his playing career. Hopefully this season will be a cherry on top and a send off to good times ahead. It's a win-win for Kirk and Raiders.SkullCrusher wrote: Fri Jun 05, 2026 8:34 am If Cousins wants to coach, that would tell you how much he loves the game.
Career Earnings 341 million.
Take taxes and stuff out of that 170 mil.
If he's smart he invested a least half that 85 million.
Just doing S&P alone he can profit over 8.5 million a year in gains and still have that 85 million.
So if he wants to coach, it would be telling how much a worker he is.
(Curt reads this, f[raiders_icon]ck why didn't I do this?)

When asked about coaching I think his response was,”I enjoy my sleep too much to be a coach” lolAtlasffa wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 5:14 pm Kirk has already said he does not want to be a coach--at least not at the NFL level. Weird shit.
It should be "The Raiders want Fernando Mendoza to do everything possible to keep Kirk Cousins off the field."

He will get his reps in preseason and hopefully Cousins is mostly held out so he gets reps with the first team. I know Cousins needs reps to get some gelling with the team in actual action but Fernandez needs that as well, because he is going to start at some point this year.

We get it he's a rook, but f[raiders_icon]ck me if I'm still not doing 110% to get him on the field asap.
It's like they are already underselling Mendoza to us and over selling the other 2 QB's, gtfo.
My stance is and will remain, he's playing if we have an good line, otherwise Curt can take the damage.
